Where To Buy: White August Tea Company
Product Description:
Assam black tea garnished with black currant leaves and sweet berries. We recommend enhancing this tea with a lemon zest or cream for an outstanding smooth and lightly fruity morning beverage.

Ebony Wine Tea is another outstanding offering from White August Tea Company!
The aroma reminds me of a cross between ice(d) wine and Cabernet! It’s a nicely flavored black tea. The currant leaves and berries are perfectly in tune with my palate! This is juicy and has a nice evenness to the sweet-berry verses the sour-berry. I think it’s just lovely!
I have looking into more iced wine teas lately. I must say my personal tea stash is a little low on iced wine teas at the moment so this was a perfect ‘stand-in” for it.

First…I would like to say HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY from SororiTEA Sisters!
“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”
Well, I can honestly say they aren’t THIS GIRLS BFF! I would much rather have tea! That’s why I thought this was a perfect tea to review today!
I really LOVE White August Tea Company’s Creative Tea Names and Descriptions! Most of which are trademarked, I might add!
This one lives up to it’s name! I really enjoyed it…A LOT!
A Girls’ Best Friend Tea from White August Tea Company smells wonderful! It’s filled with various plump berries and black tea! The black tea is pretty strong in flavor and I like that! The flavor of the berries is lovely too! It’s slightly tart but more importantly juicy! AND…ya know what!? The Hibiscus is subtle and more than tolerable! This surprisingly has a velvety yet floral finish. YUM.
Companies who over-do hibiscus in their blends need to take some notes from White August Tea Company! They do it right! Just enough to tie in and play nice with the other flavors! This is really something special…a good tea to give as a gift or to sip with friends! A pure delight!
Social Butterfly from White August Tea Company
Where To Buy: White August Tea Company
Product Description:
A tippy green tea bursting with succulent blueberries and intoxicating jasmine petals. This all organic tea yields a very complex and energizing cup.
Tasters Review:
I remember when I was in grade school and half way thru the school year having those student/parent/teacher conferences…each and every year my teacher(s) would say the same thing…”she’s a good student…but…she’s quite the Social Butterfly”.
My parents were never shocked but not overly pleased, either. What can I say? I like to talk!
When I saw this tea on the White August Tea Company’s Website…I knew I HAD to try it! And I know you aren’t supposed to judge a tea by it’s name…but…I’m not going to lie…sometimes I do!
In this case – the name does live up to it’s tea or the tea to it’s name!?
It’s Pretty, Floral, and Fruity!
The amount of Jasmine and the amount of blueberry TOGETHER is AWESOME! It’s just enough of each AND you can still taste the green tea!
There have been 2 other Blueberry/Jasmine Green Teas I have liked in the past but those 2 companies are no longer in business…so I am very happy to have found one to fill the void!
Social Butterflies UNITE! Fly on over to the White August Tea Company’s Website and see what gets you talking! There are plenty of lovely teas to choose from!
Emerald Ice Tea from White August Tea Company
Where To Buy: White August Tea Company
Product Description:
All the good stuff. Beautiful green tea, Ginger, Jasmine and tropical fruits. Our beautifully refreshing melody was made for iced tea and packed with antioxidant richness.
Tasters Review:
This smells like Pineapple, Jasmine, and Green Tea! It has a very lovely aroma! I especially like the Pineapple but paired with the green tea and Jasmine it makes it very unique and even more likable!
Emerald Ice from White August Tea Company tastes like gentle flowers, tropical fruit, and green tea. The Green tea is the main flavor and it’s not a grassy green but it’s not super sweet or buttery either…probably inbetween all of those. The sip starts off smooth and goes into more of the fruit towards the end of the sip…almost like mixed fruit…pineapple, pear, cherry, you know the mixed fruit you would get in a can?
I really like this flavored green tea – it just seems to have the right amount of everything!
Choco-Mate Tea from White August Tea Company
Tea Type: Yerba Mate/Rooibos Blend
Where To Buy: White August Tea Company
Product Description:
This energizing combination of sweet chocolate and south American mate is sure to stimulate your senses.
Tasters Review:
Over the last couple of months anything marked Choco & Mate I have been interested in trying! When I saw this one from White August Tea Company I was equally if not MORE excited to try it! All of the teas I have tried from this company I have enjoyed – as was the case with this specific offering!
Prior to infusing this smells like Chocolate Milk… Sweet Chocolate Milk!
After infusing it does lose a lot of the sweet aroma but you can still smell cocoa or chocolate just not as sweet and not nearly as strong as before infusing.
The taste is primarily Yerba Mate. The Sweet Chocolate flavor comes thru nicely but I would LOVE to try it with even more Chocolate flavor! There seems to be a little Rooibos Flavor coming thru, too. I have yet to put this to the test but I’m considering increasing the amount of loose leaf but infusing for a little less time to see if the chocolate comes thru more.
Regardless…this is tasty…a very good flavored Yerba Mate! I would suggest this to anyone looking for a flavored Yerba Mate, a flavored Rooibos, or a Chocolate or Cocoa Flavored Tisane!
