A few years ago I received this lovely teapot as a gift from my parents and I haven’t seen too many of them since I received it but recently I was online and saw it on a site and thought I would review it today. It’s the Irish Tea For One Teapot from FineLine Teas. Eventho this Irish Tea For One Teapot from FineLine Teas is not currently in stock I felt it was certainly worth a mention!
Irish Tea For One Teapot from FineLine Teas is a decorated teapot for one (or two) and has the Irish look and feel to it. It’s painted in cream and green and has Celtic knots wrapping around the teapot. It’s a 3-piece teapot and says “A good laugh and a cup of tea are the two best cures” on it. You can see where the small top part comes off and the bottom half as well.
I think this Irish Tea For One Teapot from FineLine Teas is darling. I have only used it a few times because I use it more for display than USE but that might have to change in the coming months. I’m also using this as my Vegan Mofo post today where the prompt is “Something Rare” as we are to use something we don’t usually use in cooking – well – instead of that – I figured I would feature this teapot since I don’t usually use it but still admire it!

Peach Dream from Nelson’s Tea #VeganMoFo2016
Don’t you just LOVE colors that compliment each other? That is today’s Vegan MoFo prompt and since the Sororitea Sisters is doing-up Vegan MoFo TEA Style we decided to jump into the mix with Peach Dream from Nelson’s Tea. When you look at the dry mix of ingredients you will see olive green, khaki, cream, orange-yellow, and a few specs of darker brown because of the green rooibos, orange peel, marigold petals, and other flavors in this herbal blend.
Peach Dream from Nelson’s Tea infuses to a orange-light brown and smells incredible because of the peach. The flavor is peachy, sweet, creamy, and a bit like a sweeter nut – almost like cashew, perhaps! I completely agree with the use of green rooibos here and the peach is plump and pleasant and not overdone in the slightest. Peach Dream from Nelson’s Tea makes for easy sipping and is tasty hot or cold. If you try this iced – word to the wise – do a double dose of loose and steep for double the time! YUMMO!

Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz #VeganMoFo2016
Vegan MoFo is pimping Monochrome Meals today which means we will be seeing a lot of food that is all based around ONE color so for our Vegan MoFo Tea choice today we are pushing Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz.
This Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz is part of the Teasenz Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix. If you purchase the 70 gram TIN for $10.89 you will receive 12 or 13 mini tuo cha. I think this is a pretty fair price for 12 or 13 mini’s of which you get to try 4 of their pu-erhs!
We are specifically reviewing the Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz in this review. The scent of this one once wet and infused is an earthy, woodsy, wormy type. It infuses to a dark brown. I was pleasantly surprised that the taste on the tongue was mellower than I thought it would be based on the scent of the infusion. It was really quite nice. Sure it had woodsy notes but they weren’t over the top or anything I winced at. Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz was even a bit smooth, too! I’m not saying this Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz was dull or lacking in flavor at all! It’s just more smooth than I thought it would be based on the scent! I’m very excited about this offering!
Because Mini Yunnan Tuocha Mix – Brown Wrapper – from Teasenz is a solid brown color DRY and WET I figured it would make a nice connection to the Vegan MoFo Monochrome theme of the day, today!

- Brown: Start off with the flat tuocha wrapped in brown paper to experience the classic taste of pu erh tea. Note: Don’t underestimate those small tuocha teas. One piece can easily steep you several pots of tea. Instead of moving too fast from one color to the other, first strive to get as many steeps from each piece! Try to notice differences in flavor between the different steeps.

For Vegan MoFo today it’s “Something Different” – Cook a cuisine you’ve never tried before or one you don’t often make often enough. Here at Sororitea Sisters we don’t seem to sip on enough American Made Tea not because we don’t want to but because there is really only ONE working Tea Plantation here in the US. Genmaicha from Blue Hour Tea #VeganMoFo2016
Today’s Vegan MoFo prompt is “Far Away” and basically if we dug straight down – where would we come out?
