Where To Buy: Two Leaves And A Bud
Product Description:
A traditional chai that starts with true Assam tea (not cheap “blending tea”) and adds only the true ingredients of chai: Cinnamon, Clove, and Cardamom. Fabulous with milk and honey!
Tasters Review:
I waited a while to try this one. Not sure why. Maybe because I have been tasting a lot of Chai lately. Many of them seem to be over-spiced and/or all seemed the same. After my first sip of this I knew it was different. The flavors were wonderful and I could have sworn I tasted a lovely orange flavor to it eventho it doesn’t mention citrus in the product description but I could have sworn it was there! The spices are just right for my palate and there was a bit of juicy-sweet with the spices tossed in.
In short…I really like this! The Chai flavors are subtle and the orange is just 1 step ahead of the spices! This was very nice!
Organic Better Morning Blend from Two Leaves And A Bud
Where To Buy: Two Leaves And A Bud
Product Description:
Better Morning Blend features a zing of lemon, a refreshing touch of citrus, peppermint, kombucha, and aromatherapy to stimulate your senses. A balanced, sweet flavor that’s reason enough to get out of bed. If you suddenly decide you’re a morning person, it’ll be our little secret!
Tasters Review:
This was surprisingly good! By that I mean…many herbals don’t catch my interest often and this one did!
It was lighter on the herbally-medicine-E taste and the lemon was perfectly done. The mint was subtle in the end of the sip on to the aftertaste.
Throughout the sip the gentle citrus was a nice touch. I really think what made this work is that everything was present but it wasn’t over done. It was tasty as well as good for you and a nice way to start the day.
I’m very happy with this herbal!

Company Description:
This refreshing, minty, organic peppermint tea aids in digestion and gives clarity of thought. Ours is 100% pure peppermint and 100% caffeine-free (many peppermint teas are not). Fresh, pure aroma will lift your spirits and quiet your mind. Perfect after breakfast or dinner–the mint-after-a-meal custom dates back to ancient Rome, and has been a favorite cure for indigestion since Biblical times. Makes a crisp iced tea!
Taster’s Review:
I like spicy food. Unfortunately for me, it doesn’t really like me. After I eat something a little too spicy, I find myself suffering from some rather uncomfortable indigestion. But, I can’t let something like this stop me from enjoying the foods that I love.
Instead, I’ve learned how to combat it. I just grab an herbal tea like this one – pure Organic Peppermint Tea from Two Leaves and a Bud – and it offers me soothing relief (plus leaves my mouth feeling minty fresh!)
Having already reviewed this tea, I don’t know that I have very much more to say about it. Two Leaves and a Bud haven’t changed anything about this tea – it’s still 100% pure, Organic Peppermint. This tea has no fillers and no extra unnecessary herbs. Just naturally sweet, fresh-tasting peppermint that is vibrant and alive with flavor. And that’s all that I need to get the “job” done.
This not only makes a delicious hot cup of soothing relief when I have indigestion, but it is a delightfully thirst-quenching tea when iced. Pure, pristine and perfect! That’s this Peppermint to a … TEA!
Organic Tropical Goji Green Tea from Two Leaves and a Bud
Leaf Type: Green
Where to Buy: Two Leaves and a Bud
Company Description:
Tropical Goji Green is an organic Japanese-style green tea grown in China. We start with traditional Japanese sencha, then add organic Goji berries and natural tropical flavors to make this tea slightly tangy, but also rich and smooth. Great iced!
Taster’s Review:
Yes… yet again, apprehension: nervous to try this tea – needless hesitation because this tea turned out to be quite delightful.
The dreaded goji berry! I need to get over my tendency to immediately assume I won’t like a tea with goji berry! Because, the truth of the matter is, that while I have come across a few that have not been to my liking, MOST of the teas that I’ve tasted with goji berry I’ve enjoyed. I guess it is because the first goji berry tea that I tried was way too sour and since that time, I’m inclined to think that all goji berry teas are going to be equally as distasteful.
But… not this one! This tea is delicious. The combination of the tropical fruit flavor and the goji berry creates a unique tropical/berry flavor that is a very welcome departure from the typical tropical flavor. Not that I dislike tropical flavor – I quite like it. But sometimes it seems way too overdone.
This tropical tea is deliciously different. The berry is not at all sour. Tangy, yes… but I find it more on the sweet side than tangy or tart. And smooth. There is a buttery richness from the Sencha – it is fresh and very slightly vegetal.
A very pleasant tea to drink hot, but, even more enjoyable to drink iced! Very refreshing and silky smooth! I like it a lot!
Assam Breakfast from Two Leaves and a Bud
Tea Information:
Leaf Type: Black
Where to Buy: Two Leaves and a Bud
Company Description:
A best-seller! Assam tea is famous for its lush flavor, amber color, and a smooth, multi-layered “malty” flavor. We have chosen a traditional, orthodox full leaf Assam, which makes for the perfect breakfast tea. Our Assam grows in NE India, where low, rolling hills creating a great environment for rich tea. Hot days and cool nights bring out the fullest flavor!
Taster’s Review:
This is an EXCELLENT Assam tea.
It is surprising to me at how good it really is – given that it is a bagged tea. If nothing else – this tea is proof that a superior quality leaf can be found in bagged form! Sometimes, you just have to look for it. Well, you needn’t look any further … because I have found it!
It is a full-bodied tea – with a nice texture that is almost “chewy.” This chewiness is further enhanced with the noteworthy maltiness in this Assam – most Assam teas have a malty note to them; with some Assam teas the malty note is quite delicate while in others it is very strong. Here, it is very strong.
And while it does possess that stout, robust, get-up-and-go quality that the best Assam teas have, it also has a very pleasant smoothness and an almost caramel-y sweetness that hits at the end of the sip.
This is a very delightful cup of Assam tea!
While the suggested brewing parameters for this tea are 5 minutes – I only steeped this cup for 2 ½ minutes. The result is a full-flavored, malty cup of Assam without any bitterness and minimal astringency. I fear that brewing it for a full 5 minutes may result in a slightly bitter cup, this stemming from my knowledge and history in working with Assam teas, but not from my specific knowledge and/or history with this particular Assam. So feel free to experiment and find what works best for you.
I highly recommend this Assam tea to all tea lovers, especially to those who have a fondness for Assam tea. You may just find a new favorite with this one! Yes, it really is that good!
