Tasters Review:
Peach Apple Crisp was the very first tea I tried from The Persimmon Tree Tea Company and I must say I am impressed!
DRY this smells like various black teas, peaches, apples, flowers, spices, and a little hibiscusy. It’s FULL of aroma and I like that!Post infusion… this smells mostly of peaches, apples, flowers, and cinnamon. Different than the pre-infusion but still very nice and very aromatic! Another PLUS in my book!
It infuses to a nice medium golden brown color.
The flavor is absolutely delightful! I can taste individually the peach, the apple, the cinnamon, and the flowers…but they all jive well together!
The stereotypical Rooibos taste wasn’t really there as much so I would suggest this blend to ANYONE who thinks Rooibos is NOT for them…this just may change your mind!
The more I sip on this the more I like it! My first cup I had HOT but assume it would be tremendous cold, too! I am going to have to put that to the test very soon!
Simply put…I LOVE THIS blend! I have officially put it in my upper 95+ percentile of teas I LOVE. Stay tuned to SororiTEA Sisters for more tea reviews from The Persimmon Tree!

I decided to wind down my day with this flowering/blooming tea last night.
It smells like fresh peas and flowers! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the aroma of fresh from the garden peas!
This tastes delicate, slightly sweet but floral yet a different floral taste than I am used to or expect from a flowering or blooming tea. I do like that it is a different floral taste, I might add! It leaves a half floral – half fresh pea type aftertaste.
Lovely flowering tea! I think this is a goodie! This tea is certainly for me!
Royal Phoenix Yellow Stone Oolong Tea from Bird Pick Tea & Herb
Where To Buy: Bird Pick Tea & Herb
Product Description:
Phoenix Yellow Stone Oolong Tea is cultivated from small tea trees, some of which have been around for 700 years. Their limited production as well as their unique harvesting methods make it rare.
This tea will leave a rich and complex flavor on your palate and is distinctive with its aroma and fruity accents.
Tasters Review:
First…Good Morning & Merry Christmas!
I am going to spend some more time with this specific oolong but here are my first findings and I will say I am very pleased with this tea!
Royal Phoenix Yellow Stone Oolong Tea has a slight woodsy aroma and on top of that a more charcoal type aroma with hints of fruit…altho I can’t tell you what type of fruit…and it’s more of a rind or skin of the fruit than the actual ‘meat’ or ‘flesh’.
As for the taste…it’s VERY different! Again, taste-wise, I can taste the fruit comparison but it’s more of a rind/zest or skin type fruit taste than the actual fruit itself, I suppose. There is a slight drier-wine type taste so maybe the fruit I am tasting could be comparable to grape-skin type taste, maybe!
The more I sip it – the more I like it. And the more I am thinking of a wine comparison. There seem to be hints of strawberry…I’m thinking more like the top of the strawberry – like up top by the leaves and stem rather than a plump juicy strawberry.
This is GOOD because it’s interesting and unique and I am enjoying my cuppa!
I hope you are all blessed with a nice cup of tea today!
Happy Holidays from your SororiTEA Sisters!

This tea brews to a reddish-brown colour and has a distinctive liquorice, soothing taste.
Pack size: 50g
Servings: 50 cups or more. Full instructions on how to prepare the perfect cup of tea inside each box
Tasters Review:
This is incredibly smooth…I’m rather shocked at how smooth it is! It’s more like a standard black tea than a stereotypical pu-erh! This would be a nice go-to Pu-Erh. For Pu-Erh fanatics tho, this may be on the lighter side! But for me…I really like this! If you aren’t a fan of the heavier pu-erh’s or the ones that will “put hair on your chest” – try this one!
Soothing Lemon Wellness from Teas & Tapestries
Where To Buy: Teas & Tapestries
Product Description:
(Organic Caffeine Free Rooibos Tea) This tea blend has a sparkling-like lemon flavor which gives this blend a fresh and lively character – terrific served hot and sensational served iced! This tea is very soothing when served hot with a little honey, perfect for those winter sore throats! Rooibos is an ultra fine, delicate tea and once brewed it will produce a hearty red color with a warm scent. Rooibos holds a superior, natural sweetness that is unsurpassed with a smooth and aromatic after taste!
Modern medical institutes and, most notably Japan have taken quick notice of the medical benefits of consuming this beverage and have amassed findings on Rooibos including anti-viral, anti-spasmodic and anti-allergic properties. They have also found that Rooibos is over 50 times more active in anti-oxidant properties then green tea!
Rooibos is caffeine free, rich in naturally occurring trace elements, and contains healthy amounts of Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Fluoride, Manganese, Zinc, Calcium, and Vitamin C. It also contains fair amounts of alpha-hydroxy acid, which is known to promote healthy skin. This is truly an amazing plant that is just starting to make its way into western culture from its mountain peak home of South Africa.
This tea is not a commercial blend, but I personally hand mix it in small batches to ensure quality and uniformity of each and every custom tea tin.
Brew: Steep 1 teaspoon in 8 oz water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 5-7 minutes. This particular blend is excellent iced and I recommend brewing 5-6 teaspoons of loose tea to make a mild 1 gallon of sun tea that is phenomenal served over ice! This will make your tea tin produce almost 5 gallons of iced tea and it is an excellent way to welcome company into your home 🙂
Organic Ingredients: Red Rooibos, Lemon Peel, Lemon grass
Taste: Sparkling-like lemon flavor, fresh & lively. Excellent hot or cold!
Each tin contains 1/2 cup of loose tea and will make approximately 20 cups of brewed tea.
Tasters Review:
Soothing Lemon Wellness is very nice. I like lemon…usually LOTS and LOTS of lemon in types of tisanes like this…but the lemon is more mellow than I thought it would be and I do like it quite a bit still.
Maybe that is what they mean by SOOTHING. Regardless this is a satisfying cup.
This seems like it would be the perfect ending to a stressful day. I assume, but have yet to try, that it would be lovely iced, as well.
