Taster’s Review:
Before I begin with this review, I just want to say that I’ve never had a tea help me loose weight. I’ve had some teas make me feel better, but I’ve never seen any evidence on the scale. I know there is a lot of controversy on weight loss teas and sometimes I’ve seen some pretty heated battles. So for this review,I want to keep things calm and easy going and we aren’t going to talk about the detoxing properties of the tea. I only had one tea bag to try as well so there really wouldn’t be much in the way of results. So let me tell you a bit about my experience with this tea.
What I liked about this tea is the convenience. They provide the tea in tea bags so I was able to prep this up with some boiling water without much fuss. 5 minutes later I am greeted with a gorgeous dark pink beverage waiting for me to try it. Inside the tea bag was a lot of dried hibiscus along with a few other odds and ends of ingredients. But primarily hibiscus.
First sip in and this is for those who really enjoy their hibiscus. I really only tasted the hibiscus and none of the other ingredients listed. The hibiscus dominated the cuppa. Now with saying that, I still enjoyed the flavor. This isn’t something I would reach for on a daily basis but I’m liking the flavor. The tartness is there but it isn’t as sharp as other hibiscus blends. This reminds me more of that sugar free Kool-Aid flavor or Crystal Light.
For my second cup, I added ice and had a nice refreshing hibiscus iced tea for after lunch. Again, tart but not overly so and I didn’t feel the need to add any sweeteners. I think this is a tea that does ask for a sweetener but I wanted to keep this plain.
My last thoughts on this- It was good but not something I would drink a lot of. If you are a hibiscus fan (like I said earlier), I think you may enjoy this one a bit more than me. I’m still happy I was able to try it. Been curious about this one for a bit.
Off to the next tea!

Taster’s Review:
Being a huge green tea fan, I thought for sure I would not love this tea. To be honest, I thought my tea snob would come out and say No- I will not like you. You are a tea bag. Mind you, I have been drinking tea bags from Paper Box Goodies all week but I still had that feeling.
Yep, my inner snob was shut up right quickly with one sip of this tea. I am surprised how good this is. Clean and refreshing green tea. No fuss. No mess. Just a solid smooth almost sweet green tea with a hint of vegetal going on here and there.
I prepped this tea up using just the water spout on our coffee maker at work and VIOLA! Green tea on the go and in a flash! This tea saved me in a meeting that I thought for sure I was going to fall asleep in. This tea is a great every day kind of tea. One that I could drink all day every day!
Nicely done Ringtons. This is the first tea I’ve had from them and I can say it won’t be the last. Tasty!

Taster’s Review:
I have always been curious about Good Earth teas. My brother used to drink these like they were going out of style and would never share. Well, this time around its my turn not to share.
This is a unique sounding tea. I find that pomegranate flavors and cherry flavors are often blended together in those throw in water bottle powders like Crystal Light.
This tea could be compared to Crystal Light’s Cherry Pomegranate in just about every way actually. . I cold brewed this tea hoping that the sweet smell I was getting from the tea bag may tone down a bit while the green tea would step its game up and show its true colors. That unfortunately didn’t happen.
Cold brew this tea has a lovely light purple color with a kool-aid like flavor. There are very strong notes of a cherry and pomegranate flavor that really resonate and take over the tea. Unfortunately, the green tea flavor seemed masked and after even taking another tea bag and trying to hot brew it, it seemed I had the same results.
For what an on the go kind of tea, this would be nice to change things up. I could also see this being great for kids with its remarkable close taste to juice. Overall, I was glad I was able to try it. Gave me something different to drink this afternoon.

Taster’s Review:
I love teas with a convenience factor to them. Prepping loose leaf tea is something I’m now used to and have worked that into my everyday. But there are some days that I don’t have time to boil the water, steep the tea, and pour it into my travel mug. Sometimes I just need to throw in some tea and go. I don’t yet have a travel mug that would steep the tea as I take on my daily grind. I need to look into getting one. But until I do I have this gem.
This tea has a slightly smokey black base finish with sweet caramel and vanilla notes in each and every sip. There are slight notes of tobacco, but very slight. I actually am surprised this tea sachet can pack this much flavor. I’ve had a few other offerings from Tozy Tea and this one ranks right up there with their Cherry Blossom, which I adore!
As this one cools, the flavors just continue to grow stronger. I even tried making this into an iced tea and the results were very similar. The only difference is the caramel and vanilla notes were more pronounced.
I think overall I preferred this one brewed hot. The tea gave me that warm and cozy feeling that a good tea will give you. I instantly wanted to curl up with a book and this cuppa. This particular tea sachet has such a simple yet delicious flavor.
Another winner from Tozy Tea!

Taster’s Review:
Buddha’s teas has the most extensive collection of single-herb tisane that I have seen on the internet. I use a lot of those herbs for my own personal functional herbal blends, and it’s nice to see such a wide selection and knowledge base out there. This tea was provided to me for review.
Before I begin, I must give a little bit of a disclaimer. I have been dealing with migraines for quite some time. I almost always have a headache and the stupidest things can trigger intense brain pain at any moment, causing me to be mentally and physically crippled for hours on end. Even scrolling on my phone too fast will set it off. My type of headache is typically tension related.
That being said, I have a few tips and tricks that I do to help me ride the wave. I have read recently that feverfew is really effective in easing migraines. I was super stoked to be able to try this tea out from Buddha Teas.
The packaging is pretty slick, the feel of the box is much nicer than the usual store bought cardboard. Although I didn’t think it was necessary for the little glue strip keeping the lid on, I thought the package was fine without it. (actually, I thought it was some kind of booger at first! Lol)
The teabags are wrapped in the same color black velvety-textured material. The teabag is your average paper teabag, although I liked that this was made from eco-friendly items. There is also a cute little quote on each of the teabag labels.
Now on to the steeping! I used boiling water and tested steeping at 4 minutes and at 8 minutes. I believe the 8 minute mark is best for this type of tea because it allowed the subtle flavors to become more prominent.
The flavor of this tea is very fresh and herbaceous. The lemony tang of the lemongrass shines through as the main flavor. If the lemongrass wasn’t there, I may be able to tell what feverfew tastes like. I’m glad it is not an unpleasant addition. Rather, it is the most crucial.
I took this at the first sign of an oncoming migraine. I forgot to take any kind of painkiller, like I usually do. I put a heat wrap on my neck and sipped on this tea instead. I noticed that the coupling of these two factors help keep my migraine at bay. It felt pretty effective and it worked pretty quickly. I think almost any trace of my headache was gone in about 20 minutes. Which is a life saver for me!
Thanks Buddha Teas for letting me review your selection!
