Taster’s Review:
This is an incredible Darjeeling. As the product description suggests (provided above), there are distinct notes of rose to this cup. In fact, that’s one of the first flavors I could distinguish before even having read the description. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a Darjeeling with such a lovely hint of rose!
I can also taste the almond and spice flavors to this cup, as well as a very pleasing muscatel. This is one of the most complex and flavorful “unflavored” Darjeeling teas that I’ve yet to taste. It’s exquisite!
Like most (if not all) Darjeeling teas, I prefer this one served hot because the unique set of flavors comes through crisp and clean when it is hot. As it cools, the flavors become muted and with this tea, you really want to experience all it has to offer – so drink it hot! I highly recommend this one to all tea enthusiasts, even those who have not enjoyed Darjeeling tea in the past. I think this one could change your mind!
