Peach teas can be hard to get right. They often times come off as artificial tasting or just tasting off. Because of this I have a love and hate relationship with peach teas. I love the idea of them because when done right they are amazing. But, so often I am let down because the peach taste is just not up to par. So, when I saw that Davids Tea was releasing yet another peach tea (yes, they release a lot of these sort of teas) I was interested.
Peach Mai Tai is based on the popular tropical mixed drink of the same name. The dry leaves smelt like peach and also had a nuttiness to it which is odd but perhaps something in the artificial flavors is contributing to that smell. I steeped the tea at 212 degrees for 3 minutes and served it over ice. The first taste is a very mild, mellow black tea. I do wish that Davids Tea would list what black tea is used as I am always curious about that. After the initial black tea taste the peach flavor pops up followed by a very subtle ginger back-taste. The peach in here is good. Although the ingredients have artificial flavors added peach is listed in the ingredients and I think that is why the peach is coming off tasting more genuine. I expected to taste the candied ginger in this more but overall nothing overpowers here, the black tea, ginger and peach are all in balance resulting in a very nice glass of iced tea.
I do like this tea, Davids Tea did get the peach flavor right. My only criticism is that this tea is very similar to Lady Marmalade that was released last year. As a tea addict I am always looking for something fresh and new and this tea, although very tasty, has been done by Davids Tea before.

Be a peach and pour another glass of this juicy and energizing black tea. With its mouthwatering tiki punch of peach, ginger and marigold blossom, you know you won’t want to share yours. Try it straight up for a bold and crisp iced tea. Or class it up by adding a splash of prosecco and fresh peach slices. Don’t forget the cute little cocktail umbrella!

Tropical Peach Bellini from A Quarter To Tea. . .
Peach Bellinis were my drink as a young teenager just discovering alcohol. At first I only drank the frozen slush kind that tasted more like candy than it did a cocktail. Then I went to Venice, Italy and tried their take on a Peach Bellini which was a more adult combination of Peach Nectar and Prosecco (if I am remembering correctly).
Unfortunately, the hot tea tastes like neither. It is a sweeter tea and though there are underlying fruity vibes that lean towards peach, the mao fang takes over making this more vegetal than fruit. Also, I hoped for more mango to make this feel tropical but that isn’t coming through very clearly either.
The iced tea is just more of the same. I give this points for consistency but that also means that, like the hot tea, I am left wanting more. More peach. More bellini. More tropical. More of something other than a sort of generic and slightly fruity green tea.
Though the base is nice and the fruity vibes are pleasant, it is not selling the Tropical Peach Bellini flavor I was promised by the name. I wanted to like this one but, for me, it fell a bit flat.

Like a Bellini but better. A touch of mango and mao fang sweetness make this a 2018 treat.

Honey Ginger Southern Peach Tea from Impeach Tea and a #Giveaway!
In the past year, there has been a trend for companies to be founded and based on socially responsible ideas. With the world being so socially active and connected anymore, that makes sense. What I’m loving are the tea companies that are starting to join in on this movement. Impeach Tea is one of those companies.
At their core, Impeach Tea provides affordable flavored teas with a charitable mission-to give 10% back to organizations in need of support. I wish they had a bit more information about which charities they have recently donated to or even a bit more about when they were founded but they do provide quite a bit more about their what they stand for.
Impeach Tea offers three different black base peach flavored teas- Honey Ginger Southern Peach Tea, American Dream-Peaches ‘N Cream, and Presidential Peach Black Tea. The one that instantly grabbed my attention was their Honey Ginger Southern Peach Tea.
I thought this would be a great flavored tea to try both hot and cold. The dry leaves just call for a gorgeous cold brew to really get those bright honeyed peach flavors to pop.
Allowed to steep for 4 minutes with fresh boiled water, this tea yields a robust black tea base with a more gentle honeyed peach touch and a ginger aftertaste. Really delightful. This is one of those teas that I continuously found myself grabbing for an afternoon cuppa. I did find that this is one of those flavored teas where the black tea can really start to overwhelm the cuppa if allowed to cool too much. Overall, really enjoyed.
I did try to cold brew this tea, but the flavors that I was hoping would really pop out and sing, decided to keep hiding. I thought for sure I would be greeted with a rich honeyed peach ginger tea with hints of a black tea base but those honeyed peach ginger flavors decided to stay gentle. Still delicious, just wasn’t what I had hoped for.
Regardless, I’m still loving the tea and have enjoyed cup after cup. I wish they offered green tea varieties or possibly even a honeybush. But that is just me. I’m more of a green tea girl.

Peach Vanilla Tea from Full Leaf Tea Company
You know what I LOVE? When I find a flavored tea with LARGE chunks of dried fruit in it! That happened to me recently when I infused some of Peach Vanilla Tea from Full Leaf Tea Company.
Peach Vanilla Tea from Full Leaf Tea Company is pretty incredible. I’m going to come right out and say that early on in this review! The peach was REAL. I was able to see LARGE CHUNKS of Peach in this loose leaf. The dried peach was real, true, and flavorful. There was a lovely vanilla flavor that was also REAL instead of a chemical type taste or alcohol type taste.
The vanilla made this sweet and creamy and the peach made it sweet and juicy. The black tea base was top-notch, too! It was a darker black tea base that was on the sweeter side verses a malty or woodsy side. The black tea was of medium strength but blended well with the peach and vanilla flavors. I would change anything about Peach Vanilla Tea from Full Leaf Tea Company. It’s a MARVY flavored black tea!
