Productively festive
Sweet and fruity with a dash of nutty flavour, this green tea is the saviour of elves everywhere. When they’re building to deadline in the workshop, they crave a drink that’s like dessert with a kick of energy. So we made a tea that tastes just like fruitcake in a mug. Add some brandy for the authentic cake experience – those tipsy elves always do.
Tasters Review:
This is such a FUN tea! Elf Help Green Tea has VERY colorful ingredients and is highly scented!
I can taste the green tea, sure, but there is a fruit salad type quality to it that I just can’t shake! I’m SO THANKFUL there isn’t Hibiscus in this! Thanks for that, DavidsTea!
OH YEAH…and check out these ingredients:
Sencha green tea, orange peel, apple, papaya, raisins, barberries, freeze-dried cranberries, coconut!
The more I drink this the more I enjoy it! It’s fruity without being TOO fruity on the tongue! This is a GREAT offering from DavidsTea! I have this one listed in my mid to upper 90 percentile on my personal rating scale!
Steamy Cinnamon Rose Tea from Talbott Teas
Where To Buy: Talbott Teas
Product Description:

All natural premium ingredients: Full-leaf black tea, orange peel, cloves, rose petals, cinnamon and natural orange flavor.
Tasters Review:
Some teas I just HAVE to post because they do something RIGHT where other companies do not. This is one of those teas! Steamy Cinnamon Rose Tea from Talbott Teas is the tea I am highlighting this evening. Eventho Steamy Cinnamon Rose Tea from Talbott Teas was NOT Mentioned by name on Oprah’s Favorite Things this past Monday – if you look close to the TiVo, DVR, Play-Back, or online clip you can see the classy Maroon and Black labeled tin of it in the display picture!
The reason I say that Talbott Teas did this tea RIGHT is because many rose teas and many cinnamon teas I have had either have too much, not enough, or fake tasting flavoring. Talbott Teas made Steamy Cinnamon Rose just the way I hoped it would taste!
This is a nice bold black flavored tea! Perfect for the mornings! The black tea taste is in front with lovely true orange flavors 2nd in line. The cinnamon and spices are in the background and are ‘just right’.
Thank you for the measurements of these ingredients, Talbott Teas! The end result was “steamy”, yes, but not over-the-top or artificial tasting. And the Rose and Orange flavors are lovely!

Tasters Review:
Pearl of Fruits Tea from ESP Emporium is highly scented and very nice – to the eye, nose, and mouth!
Post infusion…everything seems to come together to create it’s-own aroma which is much different from before infusing but still VERY nice! I can smell the orange and floral tones a bit more than the others but not by much and I can smell a little something that reminds me of candy, too!
It has a very pleasant yet slightly juicy and floral taste to it but it’s certainly GOOD. I am very happy with this tea and so VERY glad I got to try it!
Kapha Balance Tea from Shanti Tea
Where To Buy: Shanti Tea
Product Description:
An energizing and warming blend which is spicy and robust.
An energizing and warming blend of rooibos, holy basil, fennel, ginger, cardamom, orange peel, sage, pepper, and licorice. A rich orange infusion which is spicy and robust. Great for combating fatigue and balancing Kapha.
Tasters Review:
This Herbally-Rooibos is from Shanti Tea and it’s called Kapha Balance.
This Kapha Balance Tea is WARM – naturally. Yes, it is spicy but you can’t really pick out each spice…except for maybe the pepper…
I enjoyed what they did this with Rooibos here – almost like a Rooibos Chai, even. The rooibos along side the other ingredients make the taste of the rooibos not-so-stereotypical. Yes, it’s naturally sweet but it’s much more than your run-of-the-mill rooibos taste.
This one surprised me and I ended up liking it quite a bit more than I thought I would.

Tasters Review:
There are several reasons I was excited to try this tea from Village Tea Company! First…anything with SASSY in the name…I’m game! But more importantly ACAI. I have had many failures with Acai flavored teas. TOO MANY. This tea was very different! This is the Acai Flavored Tea I have been searching for!
Sassy Green Tea with Acai from Village Tea Company smells a bit like JUICY JUICE – at least that is what first came to mind when I initially sniffed it – or a fruity wine. When I sipped this I could still taste the sweet-green tea but pair it with fruity goodness – and there you have it! I can taste Acai, Orange, and Peach but can barely taste the ginger, chilies, and cloves which is completely fine with me. I think the reason for them – and the reason it works – is to make it so the fruit flavors are not over powering or bitter or too tarty. I think it also contributes to the lingering yet warming affect it has long after the sip is complete!
Another thing I would love to point out about Village Tea Company is…
Village Tea Company’s dedication extends beyond our teas to a commitment to preserve the beautiful world from which our tea originates. Our sustainability concept aims to minimize our carbon footprint to leave as little an impact on the environment as possible.
From floor to ceiling, the Village Tea Company aims to use recycled or reused materials for our furniture, fixtures, and decorations, with many items and materials coming from the local Dallas area.
