Harmutty Golden Delight Black Tea from Tea Swan. . . . .

You or someone you know is probably a tea fan – at least that is why I assume you have stopped by The Sororitea Sisters site today! But if you just happen to also be a wine fan you might also be smitten by this Harmutty Golden Delight Black Tea from Tea Swan review today.

Harmutty Golden Delight Black Tea from Tea Swan is a special variant of Assamese tea with golden-rimmed whole leaves that were picked during the 2nd flush. When the leaves are soaked in hot water – they make a bright copper concoction that smells of fine grapes. The fragrant tea leaves give an aroma of raisins and tobacco. The result? A brew that is rich and glows with a copper color. Upon my sip – I found this to be robust and noticed a mild – yet welcoming – astringency balanced by malty tones..

According to Tea Swan…Harmutty Golden Delight Black Tea of Assam is the healthiest choice for tea-lovers and pairs well with a hearty breakfast for a bold start to your day. I’d have to say that I agree!

St Nick’s Tea from Simpson and Vail. . . .

This is one of my new acquisitions that I bought in a turkey stupor over Black Friday weekend. I bought a LOT of tea on Cyber Monday. Like, I’d be embarrassed if it, if I still had the capacity for that. But blowing money on my tea collection is part of my REPUTATION at this point. Gotta maintain my street cred.

I picked this one specifically because Christmas is coming. I have been assiduously avoiding “Santa Baby” like the plague, but I imagine it’s only a matter of time until I hear it. I’m having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit this year, so I thought maybe this would help.

RESULT: Nope, I’m still not bothering with a Christmas tree.

HOWEVER: this is a very tasty blend. It has a nice nut-chocolate vibe. It tastes like hot chocolate mixed with an oatmeal nut cookie. Its caffeine content content keeps him zingin’ along as he halts time and gives out —

ATTENTION: THIS IS THE INTERSTELLAR TIME-SPACE CONSORTIUM. YOU DID NOT HEAR THAT. SANTA IS DEFINITELY FICTIONAL AND DEFINITELY NOT A REAL LIVING TIME-TRAVELER WITH THE ABILITY TO STOP TIME. YOUR PARENTS MADE HIM UP. ALL GIFTS ARE BOUGHT FOR YOU BY YOUR PARENTS. LOOK INTO THIS LIGHT.

— Where was I?

This tea is very sweet in a healthy homemade cookie way. If you’re not sure if you can get the Christmas spirit going, try this. Even if you don’t wind up getting the tree, at least you had a tasty tea.

“Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there….”

Add St. Nick’s Tea to your holiday wish list because this blend is Nutty & Nice! Black teas are enhanced with the flavors of chocolate and roasted nuts with a hint of maple. The tea brews to an amber cup with a smooth, nutty, slightly sweet taste. It’s the perfect blend to enjoy on winter nights while you’re sitting by the fire. A definite crowd pleaser!

Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co . . . . .

Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co HAD ME at first sniff! It smells like cookies, or cake, or coffee cake, or something cakey and bakey…darn it…now I want something dessert-like. Since I don’t eat those often (or close to {n}ever) I will sip on Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co, instead.

This flavored black tea is INCREDIBLY aromatic! It’s savory and spicy, too! The orange is juicy and I welcome it. The spices are done nicely and NOT overly done. The pistachios are what make it ‘buttery’ and even smooths out the end of the sip to finish a little creamy. Sure – this has nuts in it – but it doesn’t have dairy in it and for that I am grateful!

I don’t eat baked goods hardly ever because of the dairy and eggs in them and I am NOT a baker myself so when I crave something like that I tend to reach for a flavored tea that would fit the bill instead. Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co is one of those teas! YUM!

Nichole and I try and share everything with our other sisters here at Sororitea Sisters and Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co will be one of those teas that will be hard to pry from my hands! I will pass this one along – of course – but with a tear in my eye as I say goodbye!
