Taster’s Review:
Hmm… Strawberries and Ginger? An unusual combination that I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, but, I am intrigued!
This is a beautiful blend – so many big, delicious-looking, dried strawberry slices. It smells very lovely too – the strong scent of ginger mingling with the sweet berry is much more irresistible than I thought it would be. YUM!
The tisane brews to a dark ruby color and there is some body to the tisane, courtesy of the hibiscus. The hibscus does not impart a strong flavor though, although I wouldn’t advise steeping too long as hibiscus does have a way of taking over when it is left to steep a while. I steeped this tisane for five minutes and found that the hibiscus gave the tea a desirable color and body without a strong tart flavor. This length of time gave the tisane a nice balance between sweet and tart.
The ginger is not too spicy, it is more of a background warmth that gradually builds as I sip, but never develops to a powerful ginger flavor. It remains pleasantly in the background, providing some dimension to the strawberry and other flavor profiles.
The strawberry is the strongest note, but, I want to describe the strawberry as a somewhat flat flavor. That is not a complaint, mind you, just an observation. It doesn’t have the complexity that you might get when biting into a fresh strawberry – and I think that might be because of the other flavors that are at play here. The sweetness of the apple tends to curb some of the more delicate notes of the strawberry – giving this more of a strawberry beverage kind of taste rather than a fresh berry taste.
That being said, this is still incredibly delicious, and it is a taste that I think both kids and adults can enjoy. It tastes AMAZING iced!

Tasters Review:
This is VERY tasty and refreshing! It’s mostly strawberry with a small amount of ginger underneath. It’s not an artificial strawberry and I am very happy about that. It’s almost like water with fresh strawberries in it! If you can ‘picture that’. The other ingredients such as the apple, hibiscus, blackberry leaves, etc are all very mild but blend together nicely for the overall flavor. I enjoy this both hot and cold! A tasty cup any time of year!

Tasters Review:
Over the past few weeks I have NOT had the best luck. It seems everything around me has been breaking. I’m not able to get the projects I need to get finished – done – because of many of these mishaps! It’s so frustrating!
So…I need a little Lady Luck! Actually, I need a lot! I thought this tea was fitting.
Lady Luck Tea from The White August Tea Company is really incredible! The aroma is of vanilla and lemon and almost a nutty aroma as well!
The taste is of this is a nice oolong with a wonderful tasting vanilla and lemon combo! I really like this! The marigold is more in the aftertaste and quite subtle!
This is very delicious! I hope it will bring me a little luck in the following days!
Discover Joy – Lemon Vanilla Green Tea from Teamotions
Leaf Type: Green
Where to Buy: Teamotions
Product Description:
Flavor Profile Delicate and bright with just a hint of vanilla.
Ingredients Yunwu Green Tea, Green Rooibos, Lemongrass, Ginger, Lemon Myrtle, Oatstraw, Lavender, Ashwagandha, Natural Flavors.
Taster’s Review:
This is truly a joyous tea!
The green tea flavor is light and smooth. I don’t get a strong “grassy” or “vegetable” taste to this, although there is an overall herbaceous background to this cup. The green rooibos add just enough “sparkle” and lightness to the cup to keep it from being too overwhelmingly creamy.
As you can probably ascertain from my previous comment, this is a very creamy cup of tea. The vanilla tones are sweet and undeniably creamy, but I think that the presence of the lemony tones help to cut through some of the sweetness so that it doesn’t come across as cloying. The result is a flavor that is quite decadent and dessert-like without being too sweet.
The ingredients list ginger as one of the ingredients, but I must tell you that I really don’t taste much from the ginger except for possibly the faintest hint of spice in the distance. It is barely noticeable, and had I not read the ingredient list, it is not something I would have commented on because it is that faint. The same is true of the lavender and the ashwagandha (aka Indian Ginsing).
That being said, I can’t say that this blend would taste quite the same with these ingredients omitted from the blend. Their role in this blend may have a bit more to do with the motto of Teamotions: “Teas for emotional well-being.”
There is absolutely no bitterness to this tea, and no real sign of astringency either. It is sweet and luscious and a bit like what I’d imagine it would taste like if I were to put a slice of lemon meringue pie in the blender with some green tea.
I really enjoyed this tea – much more than I thought I would. It’s one of the better lemon/vanilla or lemon meringue type teas I’ve encountered. It’s so yummy, that I’d recommend this tea based on flavor alone … consider the health/emotional wellness benefits a bonus!

Tasters Review:
Little Black Dress – Slimming Citrus is an Oolong-Green Tea-Green Rooibos Blend…and I was VERY excited to try it! It sounded very unique and creative!
It brewed VERY Dark and smelled mostly floral and with a hint of lemon. I could taste the green tea a bit more than the oolong and green rooibos. The Jasmine stood out as the floral taste more as it cools. This had a slight vegetal/earthy taste towards the end of the sip.
I liked the idea of this one and the taste is…well…pretty TASTY!
