Taster’s Review:

Thanks to an amazing Steepster tea pal, I was able to try this one and I’m so glad I was. I have been impressed by the teas I’ve had from Nepali Tea Traders and I am looking forward to trying more.

This tea is a delicious green tea.  Vibrant with a gorgeous color.  There is a distinct vegetal profile but there are also hidden notes of sweetness that appear in every other sip or so.

What I think I love the most are the smooth rich velvet rich mouthfeel (just like the description of the tea) you get with every sip.  The tea coats your mouth giving off such a warm and fuzzy feeling.  This is one of those teas you drink while you are cuddled with your favorite book and blanket on a rainy day.

This is a tea that I can’t wait to share with the twins.  They have been really getting into tea lately!

Taster’s Review:

I have been addicted to floral teas this summer.  To the point where I was craving them and digging thru my stash looking for  any teas with rose petals or jasmine flowers.  I will admit.  I may have had a problem.

This tea actually ranks up there with the best floral teas I’ve tried so far.  I love it!

Brewed this tea up with my Breville One Touch this morning for my travel companion for my way to work on the medium green tea setting. The packaging says to steep this for up to 5 minutes.  I would be hesitant to steep this tea that long.  I would start with 3 minutes on the first infusion to play it safe.

First sip in- I was insanely impressed.  This version of a jasmine green tea not only gives you the best of the jasmine green tea world but with the addition of the rose petals there is an added sweetness.  There are also notes of plums in each sip giving this floral tea a bit more depth than what I’ve had in the past.  The green tea is lovely and is quite smooth and adds a touch of buttery creaminess to the tea. What a gorgeous tea! I’m very happy with how this tea turned out.

To be honest-I am hooked! I am sitting here at happy that I did bring the rest of the tea I have with me to work so I can make up another cuppa.  I’m excited to try this tea as an iced tea and as a cold brew.  I think I have enough to try this tea a few different ways.

This tea is truly a memorable one and will be on my radar to purchase more once I sipdown more teas.

This will be a sipdown by the end of the day.  Woot! Woot! #26!

Taster’s Review:

I really like the Paper Box Goodies tea.  They are no fuss no nonsense sort of teas.  They are all bagged teas but they are done very well.

This particular blend is a green tea.  A crisp fresh green tea with a honey and slight citrus twist.  I steeped this up like I would any traditional green tea with the help of my Breville One Touch.  I love using my Breville to prep the water.  that way there is no guessing on the correct temperature.

So with a name like Easy Bein’ Green, I instantly think Kermit.  Such fond memories of watching The Muppet’s when I was a kid and still to this day I enjoy them.  I’m so excited for the new Muppet’s series to come out.  Gonzo and the Swedish Chef were my favorites.  I loved how the Swedish Chef mumbled everything and threw everything around. Such great memories. And all from a name of a tea.

Like I noted before, this green tea was fantastic.  I drank this iced and hot and I actually think I prefer this hot.  The green buttery richness was on target with want I wanted and there was such a nice honey background.  The citrus twist would come and go but brought a bit of a different feel to the tea, giving a uniqueness to it. I’m not sure I got orange from the tea like the description would suggest but just an overall citrus note.

I honestly can say that after the cuppa was empty, I promptly refilled with more water and had myself another cuppa.  This tea was good. Spot on.  And just all around perfect for what I was wanting.  Paper Box Goodies excels at providing their customers with no mess teas, something I’m in need of right now.

Taster’s Review:

Being a huge green tea fan, I thought for sure I would not love this tea.  To be honest, I thought my tea snob would come out and say No- I will not like you.  You are a tea bag.  Mind you, I have been drinking tea bags from Paper Box Goodies all week but I still had that feeling.

Yep, my inner snob was shut up right quickly with one sip of this tea.  I am surprised how good this is.  Clean and refreshing green tea.  No fuss.  No mess.  Just a solid smooth almost sweet green tea with a hint of vegetal going on here and there.

I prepped this tea up using just the water spout on our coffee maker at work and VIOLA! Green tea on the go and in a flash! This tea saved me in a meeting that I thought for sure I was going to fall asleep in.  This tea is a great every day kind of tea.  One that I could drink all day every day!

Nicely done Ringtons.  This is the first tea I’ve had from them and I can say it won’t be the last.  Tasty!

Taster’s Review:

See those ingredients under tea description? You taste each and every one of these flavors.  Maybe this tea should be re-named- Coco Pebbles.

This tea is from the amazing Liquid Proust’s tea shop, a Steepster friend who I was very glad to support when he opened up his Etsy store.  The Sweet Cocoa Genmaicha was the first tea that went directly into my cart when I was placing my order.

The instructions for this tea (that Andrew so graciously added into the package) said one scoop of tea but I would recommend using two scoops when prepping this tea with 1 cup of water and brew this like you would any green tea (175F-90sec).

I continued prepping this tea anxiously awaiting for the 90 sec timer to go off.  When it did, I don’t think I could pour the tea into my cup fast enough.  I took a deep breath of the hot steam and was greeted with a sweet green tea like aroma.  Took one giant gulp (yep-gulp) and my taste buds were greeted with this delicious roasted dark chocolate sweet dessert flavor.  Wow was this ever good and just the right amount of chocolate and the right amount of roasted rice like flavor.  The chocolate is so rich but not overwhelming and the caramel flavoring is there but very light almost delicate like.  The base of the genmaicha really delivers the roasted bright flavor I have grown to adore and love.

I love my genmaicha but the flavored ones are either hit or a mess.  This one is a hit for sure and being the green tea fan I am, I love how this tea satisifies my sweet tooth by delivering a natural tasting flavor with roasted notes as well.

I’m a big fan.  Great job Liquid Proust’s Teas.  I can’t wait to see what else is down the line for this aspiring tea entrepreneur.
