Tea Information:
Leaf Type: Black
Where to Buy: 52Teas
Tea Description:
Lots of people have commented on our banana tea blends in the past. We’ve used banana in a few blends inspired by banana pudding, bananas foster and even banana bread, but I thought this week we would really go bananas and just go with an all out banana tea. We’ve blended our Pettaiagala Extra Long Leaf OP black tea from Sri Lanka with real freeze-dried bananas and organic banana flavors, and this, my friends, is bananatacular! It’s bananaramic! It’s enough to leave you humming the Batman theme–“Nana nana nana nana nana nana… Batman!”

Taster’s Review:
Can say Banana Pudding? Wow. This smells just like Banana Pudding. Like the kind you would have during a family get together. You can even see the banana chips in the blend. This just smells so good! I’m now officially singing the Batman theme.
Now it is time for the test. Liberteas had already informed me to let this cool. So I did. And made an iced tea out of this.
This tea may be one of the best I’ve had from 52Teas/Zoomdweebies. Creamy Banana Pudding. Wow. I can find nothing negative to say about this and am creeping on the site now to see if there is any left. No artificial flavors here. Just smooth rich sweet creamy banana flavors that really mingle well with the black tea base.
Might just need to place an order. Insert me taking a sip here. Need to place an order. Insert me taking another sip. Yeah. . .Have to place an order. Must try this a a latte.
If you are looking for a banana tea like I have been, this will take care of any craving you may have. I am impressed.
Pumpkin Toffee Dragonwell from 52Teas
Tea Information:
Leaf Type: Green
Where to Buy: Zoomdweebies.
Tea Description:
This week’s tea of the week tastes like rich pumpkin pie with a crust made entirely of sweet, delicious toffee. I don’t know if anyone could really make a pie like that, but I would love to try one. In the meantime, I’m going to continue enjoying rich sips of this yummy tea. The Dragonwell green tea adds just the right notes of sweet nuttiness to compliment the toffee and contrast with the pumpkin. All in all, this is a really special treat you’ll love serving to your guests, if you’re generous enough to share.

Taster’s Review:
In honor of our LiberTEAs taking over 52Teas soon (can not wait!), I decided to crack this tea open and see what I thought.
After checking out the reviews on Steepster for this blend, I decided I needed to try this one both hot and cold brewed. I will be honest, brewed up hot, I really did not care for this one. I can’t really say what the tea tasted like but it was unpleasant. A real muddled tasting green tea is the best I can come up with. I ended up dumping the cuppa.
Switched to cold brewed. I dumped some tea leaves into my pitcher last night and this morning I was greeted with a delicious pumpkin toffee tea. Wowzer! I am impressed. Especially after the hot brewed method was such a failed (I’m going with that was user error somehow). I can taste the pumpkin, the toffee, and the Dragonwell base and the flavor is incredible. Creamy, smooth, hints of spice, and this richness that allows this ice tea to become this ridiculously amazing iced tea treat. I am in love! I do really like 52Teas tea bases and I am sure that Liberteas will follow suit. Frank at 52Teas has listed his last teas that he will create for 52Teas (including a Raspberry Birthday Cake Blend!!). From what his blog says, Zoomdweebie will be going dark by the end of the month. Check out the remaining blends and pick them up while you still can. You won’t regret it!
Unfortunately, this particular beauty of a tea is no longer available to purchase. I wish it was. I would pick up a ton of it. I can see this tea becoming a staple in my cupboard.

Taster’s Review:
Strawberry Lemonade. . yes please! Any tea that has that combination that doesn’t have red rooibos in it, I’m all about. And oh mama. . .this one did not disappoint!
I have been cold brewing like mad lately! I love it. I throw a pitcher in at night with either loose leaf or one of these SBT pouches (which are just too handy!) and in the morning before I head out to take the kiddos where they need to go, I have my tea all set. It is fantastic! For some reason, I always shied away from these in the past, not sure why. Maybe I was just not sure about the whole cold brew thing. But not anymore!
I am a huge fan of lemonade. So I thought this one I would enjoy. I think I cried when I finished this one up and wasn’t able to steep it anymore ( I think I got about 3 infusions out of it). This is probably my favorite of all of the SBT offerings. The strawberry flavor is spot on. Sweet but not overly so. The lemonade has that fresh squeezed lemon taste to it. No chemical taste or artificial tastes to this delightful treat. Only berry lemon goodness. Neither flavor dominates the other either. The honeybush provides the a touch of sweetness and a hint of creaminess to the iced tea. As I am typing this up I am wondering if I can justify to myself ordering about 10 pouches of this stuff right now. . . just so I have my own little stockpile.
I am really happy with it. And highly recommend it. This tea is going to be perfect for the awesome weather coming our way in a few weeks.

Taster’s Review:
I love coconut, I love green tea, I love this particular blend from TeaGschwendner!
I had high hopes when I saw this one and another tea friend asked if I wanted anything during their latest sale. I said yes instantly. I have been wanting to try this one for a while now.
This is yet another tea that I shared with my dad and my boyfriend during our Mother’s Day festivities with my family. Even my mom came sniffing around the tea pot while this was brewing and she rarely shows interest in anything but her Lipton Decaf tea bags.
Brewed this up one per the instructions but added in just a bit more tea leaf.
This was a huge hit with everyone (well except my mom- who still doesn’t like anything but her Lipton Decaf tea bags). We all said the same thing. Rich green creamy tea base with this amazing coconut flavor that really screams coconut. Creamy delicious coconut. This tea is for the coconut lovers for sure. Smelling this tea, you instantly think of suntan lotion. But the taste is just amazing. My dad even asked for seconds with this one. Next time around, I want to try and add in some fruit or herbs to kick the flavor up a notch or two.
If you love green tea and enjoy coconut, you have to try this one. I even have 100g of this and I’m wondering if that will be enough. So good!

Taster’s Review:
Sometimes at work, making loose leaf tea just doesn’t happen. It is so much easier just to throw some water in a cup and a tea bag. That is how my week has been this week. I don’t know what is going on but it has been crazier than the usual crazy it is day in and day out.
Looked in my drawer and this one was in my tea bag stash. Brewed it up per the instructions on the bag and dumped in ice.
For a tea bag style tea, this is decent. This tastes very sweet and there is a very very slight hint of green tea. The plum flavors are what comes thru the most. This isn’t like a sugary kind of sweet but a sweet you would get from fruit. I wish the lemongrass flavors would poke their head out more. I am completely missing that flavor. As to the Kombucha, I don’t really know much about it and not sure what it adds to the flavor. I need to do more research and see what I can come up with there.
This tea is simple and easy. No a whole lot of mess or fuss. I wish the spearmint and lemongrass flavors were stronger but overall I really enjoy it and would pick it up again.
