Leaf Type: Black
Where to Buy: Golden Moon Tea
Product Description:
One of the best teas we have tasted. It is so rare that it is actually its own varietal without any flavorings or scenting. The honey flavor literally explodes on your front palate with a subtle finish of fresh orchids.
Taster’s Review:
I feel very honored to be able to try this tea from Golden Moon Tea. It is one of the exclusive rare teas offered to the Single Leaf Club and after having sampled this, I am planning on joining the club so that I can enjoy other great teas such as this! This is phenomenal!
The flavor is so amazing. Just as the description suggests, there is a strong “explosion” of honey flavor as well as a floral finish. I also taste an undercurrent of savory cocoa notes which adds such a luxuriousness to this experience. This tea has a strong presence – with a toothsome, biscuit-y type quality to it. One of the best teas I’ve ever had the opportunity to taste – ever!
I absolutely love this tea. If I were forced to choose just one black tea that I could drink for the rest of my life, I would most likely choose this one, and I would be quite content with that choice. Yes, it’s that good.
In fact, this tea is so amazing that it has left me at a loss for words, because I really don’t know what else to add here – this is a tea for true tea connoisseurs. I highly recommend joining the Single Leaf Club so that you might experience this tea for yourself. I have not tried any other teas from the Single Leaf Club – but I think that this tea alone is worth the membership! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed by this one!
Raspberry Champagne Tea from Octavia Tea
Where To Buy: Octavia Tea
Product Description:
Lush and inviting, Raspberry Champagne blends the floral, honey-like notes of champagne with fresh, blushing berries. White tea is said to be the healthiest of all teas and is picked only a few days each year.
Tasters Review:
Raspberry Champagne from Octavia Tea smells like Raspberry and Flowers! The taste is Raspberry and floral but very champagne-like and juicy. The aftertaste is a sweet floral taste. The berry notes are wonderful! I can even taste a bit of honey as well!
I tend to over infuse my loose leaf teas. I infuse more of the actual loose leaf but for a little less time to avoid bitterness or overly grassy or mossy tastes in other teas.
When I over infused the amount of this specific tea here is what I found different from the original infusion…
The aroma was of Honey, Berries, White Tea…it was very nice! The taste was pretty much the same as before but even more so. The Raspberry really came out when I attempted this!
I also tried a 2nd infusion when I over infused the amount of loose leaf and the taste is a bit on the lighter-side…but still very tasty and satisfying. I really enjoyed each attempt! And I really thought this was a great flavored white tea!

Ingredients: Green Tea, Valerian Root Extract, Lemon Balm, Chamomile Flower Extract, Hops Extract, Passionflower Extract, Melatonin, pure cane sugar, honey
Tasters Review:
It’s rare that I review a Bottled Tea but this one was just too interesting to pass up!
I want to start of by saying…I’m a fan of his music and his family’s charity work. I have been to the Bob Marley Cafe in Orlando. I have over 14 of his CDs. Yeah…I guess you could say I’m a Bob Marley fan.
My parents recently surprised me with a groovy lil glass bottle of Bob Marley Iced Tea waiting.
I’m not going to lie…I was a little skeptical. BUT…this iced tea was REALLY GOOD. I mean REALLY GOOD. Sure, it was sweet from the pure cane sugar and honey but it was mellow or what I like to call a “more pale type of sweet”. It wasn’t overly sweet nor was it artificial tasting like many bottled iced teas can be. I might say this is my new favorite bottled sweetened iced tea! I am looking forward to trying the other 3.
This was a mellower juicy green tea that was sugary-sweet and didn’t leave a weird aftertaste, thankfully. I ended up REALLY liking this and was very surprised!
Because this is a MELLOW MOOD tea – I will say that it lives up to its name. It’s not often anything makes me drowsy but this actually did. I will say that on the back of the bottle it does say not to exceed more than 2 bottles in one day and to space them out so they aren’t back-to-back.
I’ll leave you this morning with ONE LOVE by Bob Marley…
Carolina Honey from Argo Tea
Leaf Type: Black
Where to Buy: Argo Tea
Company Description:
A black tea blend featuring honey and lemon for the perfect combination of sweet and tart.
Taster’s Review:
I couldn’t find this tea on the Argo website, thank goodness for Steepster! I received a sampling of this tea from one of my Steepster friends.
The aroma of this tea is quite pleasant – when I opened the package I could smell the honey fragrance with light notes of lemon. The honey is very strong! The scent of the brewed liquor is a bit softer than the dry leaf, but, it is still very rewarding.
The black tea base is a strong, bold tea. I am not getting much in the way of astringency from this tea, just a very bright, crisp flavor. It is not bitter (although, as with any tea, I wouldn’t try to over-steep it). It holds its own among the strong honey flavor.
The honey flavor takes a few sips to really develop on the palate. The first sip was a little bit of a disappointment because I wasn’t getting much honey flavor or lemon flavor, but as I continued to sip it, I found the honey flavor becoming more pronounced. It is sweet and sumptuous.
The lemon notes are quite delicate, yet provide a very pleasing contrast to the sweetness of the honey.
This is a tea that would be very comforting when feeling under the weather. I found it really enjoyable as a hot tea on this chilly autumn day, but, I think it would also make a very refreshing iced tea.
This is the first tea that I’ve tried from Argo, and based upon this really positive experience, it makes me eager to try more! I’m off to explore the Argo Tea website!

♥ Orange blossom honey, apricot, grapefruit
Tasters Review:
This is my first time trying Lahloo and I am pretty excited. I never take for granted a new tea…whether it’s new to the market or just new to me!
The smells of this is a little nutty and a little blossomy.
I didn’t really pick up on the apricot notes hinted at in the description but I did the grapefruit and it was an awesome natural flavor. I also picked up on the honey hints, too, and they were lovely!
All-in-All I like this Oolong! Looking forward to trying more offerings from Lahloo!
