When I saw the name of this blend, I was really excited! I had no idea what a ‘maple marshmallow treat’ tasted like, but if it had maple in it, it had to be good! Visually, the dry blend was very pretty, with the yellow calendula petals, green tea leaves, and popped brown rice. The blend smelled earthy, grassy, and slightly sweet.
While the dry blend smelled more earthy and grass-like, a nice roasted brown rice aroma developed after steeping. I’m not sure how, but the pale yellow liquor tasted like maple syrup! It was reminiscent of a sweet flaky dessert that was covered in in the sweet syrup. The roasted brown rice taste surfaced at the tail end and lingered in the mouth.
This tea would be great if you are having a craving for something sweet (or enjoy maple syrup)!

Pear Green White from Mahamosa. . . . .
I was interested in the name of the blend since it implied a white and green tea base. The label of the packaging indicated that it contained “China Sencha, Lung Ching, green Yunnan and Pai Mu Tan” – quite a few teas! Looking at the blend, there was also a nice sprinkle of rosebuds and mango cubes. The dry blend had a nice pear aroma that became grassier after steeping.
The liquor was smooth and pale yellow with very mild astringency. The green and white tea blend base came through and had a very clean taste. There was a slight sweetness at the tail end of the sip, which may have come from the mango cubes or pineapple flakes.
This would be a nice tea if you want to unwind and relax with a book or movie!

Coconut Green Tea from LST aka Love Some Tea. . . .
I love green tea, and I love coconut so I was pretty excited to try this tea. It was better than I could have hoped.
t’s a smooth green tea with a very slight smoky flavor, and an amazing coconut aroma and flavor. I could drink this delicious tea all day. It’s clean, and decadent. It has that kind of fatty coconut flavor, and I mean that in the best way. The coconut kind of cuts the earthiness of the green tea. I had mine warm and it was a wonderful way to wake up. I have a feeling this would be amazing iced as well.
This tea is perfect for anyone who enjoys slightly smoky flavors with a nice dose of coconut flavor. But don’t expect the overly sweet coconut flavor you get from artificially flavored coconut beverages. This is the real deal, real coconut flavor that is not cloyingly sweet at all. I bet this would also make a fantastic green tea latte with coconut milk, iced or hot! I had never heard of LST tea before, but after trying this delicious tea I hope to try many more flavors. They are an ethical and sustainable tea company which in my opinion makes the tea taste even better!

Dragon Pearl Jasmine from Teavivre
Jasmine – Take Me Away!
I swear this stuff is better than any bubble bath for soothing frayed nerves! My jasmine vines are in bloom which set me to hankering for some delicious jasmine tea.
The first jasmine tea I ever tasted was a painful experience. I will try to distance myself emotionally enough to recount it for you. It was EXACTLY like drinking perfume. Or soap. Or something nasty that was supposed to taste like a flower but tasted like chemicals instead. It was synthetically flavored with jasmine, and it showed.
Then along came Teavivre and they sent me a sample of jasmine tea and I nearly wept for sorrow. But then I tried it and….OH JOY! I was hooked. I have had nearly every jasmine tea they make and they are all good, but this may be my favorite, although Peach Jasmine Pearls and Silver Needle Jasmine are all in the running.
The scent caresses your poor overworked brain and then you sip the tea and just taste pure, smooth green tea with essences of naturally infused flavor. It resteeps, too, stretching that tea-buying dollar a little more.
Oh jasmine, jasmine, how do I love thee? I will never be without a Teavivre jasmine on my shelf. (I hope!)

Fresh and Easygoing Green: Tian Mu Mao #FengGreen Tea from @Teavivre
There’s a lot of green teas out there: potent matcha, sour kukicha, toasted hojicha, or smoky gunpowder, to name just a few. After trying this offering from Teavivre, now I can add Feng Green tea to my list.
First of all, the leaves of Feng Green tea were unlike any of the green teas I mentioned. The Feng Green tea leaves were long and tightly curled, tangling into each other as I tried to scoop some tea into my teapot. This was certainly a different shape than the rolled pellets of gunpowder green, or the flattened hojicha leaves, or the powdered matcha.
The Feng Green dry leaf smelled lightly floral and just a touch sour, like an aged forest floor. There was just a hint of something spicier, like pine resin or citrus, almost making the leaves smell like a box of Christmas potpourri. Brewed, the tea is well-balanced, with the expected grassy green notes, a hint of sour fermentation, and a full scent and aftertaste of sweet apple and green grape.
I don’t often reach for green teas, but Feng Green from Teavivre was so drinkable and naturally sweet that I found myself making a cup to help take the edge off my long afternoons.
Try Feng Green when you need something pleasant and easygoing, like sitting on your porch and taking in the fresh grass of spring and the fresh fruits of summer.
