Disney World, aka the Happiest Place on Earth, aka the place where I had a panic attack and cried for 4 hours. Everyone has their own memories and dreams about it. Yet, anyone who has been there has probably passed by these Disney Wonderland Teas hiding somewhere in the many gift shops strewn throughout the parks. And they aren’t confined to just Disney World, these teas can be found at most Disney parks and I have even encountered them at Disney stores. Plus, they are available all over the internet.
If I am being honest, I never personally bought these teas because I thought they would rely solely on the Disney name and thus would not care for quality. I figured there was no reason to pay for the brand when I could find better/tastier teas elsewhere. Nevertheless, there is a nostalgia quality to these teas so when the opportunity came up to try these Disney teas, I jumped at the chance.
This particular tea is the Blueberry Green Tea. I steeped the teabag at 175F for 2 minutes. Honestly, I must say I am very impressed with the blueberry flavor of this tea. It is bright. It is sweet. It is juicy. The base is slightly present and vegetal but that gives this a more natural flavor to it. Consider me impressed. Despite my reservations, this is a pretty solid cup of tea and given it is a teabag, it is also simple and mess-free to make.
