Our beloved blend of pure Chinese white tea, rosebuds and jasmine pearls creates an experience of aromatherapy that sharpens the mind and arouses the senses. Rosebuds are used to ease nervous tension and stress, and have a calming effect on the mind. This combination works together to enhance the light, subtle flavor of the white tea leaves. Taster’s Review:

Meditative Mind From The Tea Spot.  Let me say/write that 3 times…Meditative Mind, Meditative Mind, Meditative Mind….Ahhhhhh!  This is a wonderful name for a wonderful tea!  Meditative Mind From The Tea Spot is a white tea with jasmine green tea, rosebuds, and petals.  This is white and green tea blend.

The first thing I have to make a special note of here are the jasmine notes.  I’ve had teas where the jasmine tends to taste stale.  That is NOT the case here!  It’s incredible fresh and floral yet semi-sweet!  The Jasmine and Rose flavors dominate this as far as flavors go but the white and green teas are pretty flavorful, too!

This is a comforting tea you can unwind to.  Relax to.  Enjoy by yourself or with others.  This is delightful both hot and cold.  I believe Meditative Mind From The Tea Spot to be a crowd pleaser yet to impress those who have more specific taste buds as well.  It’s well rounded.  The flavors are not over done or over the top nor are too loud or too quiet.  The flavor, ingredients, and emotions prove this tea is rightfully named.

J’aime Caramel White Tea from Shanti Tea

Leaf Type:  White Tea

Where to Buy: Shanti Tea

Tea Description:

This flavored white tea is no longer available on the Shanti Tea website but I thought it was still worth a mention.

Taster’s Review:

Eventho J’aime Caramel White Tea from Shanti Tea is no longer available for purchase on their company website I thought it was still worth a mention.  My first encounter with this tea was about 5 years ago and I knew awhile ago at some point the last of my stash would come to an end and it would be a sad, sad day.  That day has come.

I don’t think I have ever had another caramel flavored white tea but even if I did this one would be hard to beat.  It has that floral flavor that some white teas have but it also has a hardy caramel flavor to it too!  The two flavors paired together work oddly well together.  This tea is incredible smooth, sweet, floral, and a bit savory, too!

With the loss of this flavored white tea there appears to be a gap in the market.  So if any of those creative tea companies out there are trying to think of a new flavor offering in their catalog – may I suggest a caramel flavored white?  It’s shockingly tasty!

Taster’s Review:

I have always been a fan of Simpson & Vail. Their customer service is top notch and their teas are fresh and delicious.   A great company to pick up a few blends from for sure!

This particular tea sounded amazing from the description and I couldn’t wait to try it. I brewed it up per the instructions above and couldn’t wait to try this tea.

I will admit, I had to allow this tea to cool but I think that just deepened the flavors.  I will admit the flavors of this tea remind me of a black tea.  There are definite similar notes with a slight maltiness but in that maltiness is a sweet yet floral flavor that sings. A crisp white flavor that really hits that note that gives you that warming feeling inside.  Really lovely and one that you could sip on each and every day and not get tired of it.

This tea gives you the best of all worlds.  The richness notes that give black tea that umph with a delicate side as well.  This may be my new to go tea in the morning! I could see this being pretty fabulous for my commute into the office.

Taster’s Review:

Wow! Teabox has some pretty impressive teas and I have to say this one is fabulous and perfect for the chaotic week or so we’ve had in my family!

This tea had such a lovely almost floral aroma to it while it steeped. I steeped the tea per the instructions on the package and have to say they resulted in one gorgeous cuppa!

I love my Darjeelings for the lovely well balanced and smooth flavors they offer. I don’t like I’ve come across one I don’t like yet. This one (like I said) had a lovely floral aroma but the flavors were full blown malty with a hint of a citrus touch here and there.  One of those whole mouth feel sort of teas that really help you ease into your evening with class.  But be warned, this tea is one that will be come astringent quite quickly and will leave you with a rather mouth drying tea if you don’t goble it up while it is freshly brewed.

Another stunning example of the wonderful teas Teabox has to offer!

Taster’s Review:

I love Verdant Tea.  I don’t know of anybody who doesn’t. Their love, passion, attention to detail, and most importantly, their tea is just simply amazing. Tea that you can steep again and again and enjoy for an afternoon. I have tried several of their teas and have loved the flavors of each one.

And this one is no exception! This Spring Harvest Laoshan White (which I’m not finding on their site) is a gorgeous white tea that has resounding notes of a green tea mingled within each glorious sip.  Brewed up like a white tea, I allowed the tea to steep for about 4 minutes.  Took my first sip and just took a moment to enjoy.

This tea has a gorgeous vegetal feel with notes of a floral touch here and there. Simple but so wonderful.  Each infusion brought me a slightly different profile but for the most part, this tea really has a nice solid vegetal feel sweetened by  a glorious floral note.

Another really well done tea from Verdant Tea! If you haven’t tried Verdant Tea, I highly recommend you do! They have a great starter pack for only $5. A great deal!
