They say to never judge a book by its cover. I know this– really, I do. But you guys. This tea is SO PRETTY. It might’ve tasted like swamp muck and I would’ve been too distracted by the big, beautiful flower buds and petals, strawberry pieces, and fairy-like flowery-somethings filling up my cup to actually notice.
Luckily, that’s not the case.
This tea delivers just as much on the palate as it does on the eyes, with creamy strawberry notes atop delicate, floral oolong leaves. With a little honey, it’s perfectly sweet– but even without, it’s a beautiful mix of creamy, fruity and just a touch floral. On a second steep, I lost a bit of the berry, with mostly that creamy floral oolong remaining, but I’m not complaining.
This tea is the perfect cup to sip in these late-winter-early-spring-but-not-quite-oh-here’s-some-more-snow-for-you days that us northerners are still plodding through. A book I’ll happily claim to live up to its cover!

Valentine Tea Alert! Love Tea #7 from David’s Tea. . .
My lovely, kind, smart and wonderful fiancé has one fatal flaw. He doesn’t like strawberries, you guys. STRAWBERRIES. How?! I wish I could tell you. I, on the other hand, clearly am a fan. So when I dug this tea out of my sample stash, I knew that this could go one of two ways: I could love it, and rejoice in the more-for-me glory, or it could fall seriously flat and I wouldn’t be able to pawn it off on him as I so often do with teas that I don’t love (Whoops. Sorry for all the rejects, honey).
At first sniff, I could pick out all the key players– chocolate, strawberry and rose, all present and accounted for. My hopes rose even more after steeping a generous teaspoon in my cup– the brewed aroma alone made my kitchen smell like I’d just finish dipping a batch of chocolate-covered berries.
And did it deliver? YES. (insert hallelujah hands emoji *here*). I lost a little bit of the rose in the brewed tea, but my cup was perfectly evocative of my favorite little red fruit covered in creamy, sweet chocolate. As a latte, this was divine.
Thankfully, this little pouch will get tucked away in the all-mine corner of my tea cabinet, and I don’t think my fiancé will mind one bit.

Sacrd SynchroniciTEA from Cup of Love. . . .
Sacred SynchroniciTEA from Cup of Love is a lovely blend of black tea and green tea for the base with added flower petals and vanilla. The black tea is actually flavored with the vanilla, specifically, and according to their website.
I sometimes have a hard time with floral flavored teas because I find that they ‘get stale’ quicker or ‘tend to turn bitter’ easier than others. With Sacred SynchroniciTEA from Cup of Love that is NOT the case. This flavored black and green blend is done nicely. It’s fresh, flavorful, floral, and creamy. It’s a tad sweet, too! The vanilla really takes it to the next level!
I also find that it can be difficult to accomplish an even flavor profile when blending black tea and green tea. Cup of Love – was once again – able to do this successfully! I could taste both the black tea and the green tea, evenly. Neither was over powering the other. It made for a solid, blended base. When you taste the floral and vanilla flavors they work in harmony with the base – and again are not too overpowering. I really like the flavor and appreciate the quality of Sacred SynchroniciTEA from Cup of Love.

Sir Stuart Black & Green Blend from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee. . . . .
Sir Stuart Black & Green Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee was named after the explorer Sir Stuart Cleary of Cranbrookshire after his trip to the Orient. This tea is lower in caffeine but highly flavored! Sir Stuart Black & Green Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee is a black and green tea blended base with lots of other exciting ingredients mixed in!
Black Tea, Green Tea, Ginger pieces, Fennel, Cardamom seeds, Rose petals and Cornflower blossoms make of the flavor. It’s fruity, spicy, and floral! If you have sipped on an Earl Grey flavored green tea before and enjoyed it this might be one you would like to try. It’s somewhat reminiscent of that but it’s also so much more in terms of taste.
More specifically I was able to smell and taste the rose and fennel individually at a time were the Earl Grey Flavored Green tea was part of a weaker sip. The ginger and cardamom played more of a part with the aftertaste. There are lots of yin and yang flavors here and a lot going on but it all plays well with each other and makes for a colorful sight and tasty flavor on the tongue, too! If you liked black and green teas that are blended together and flavored well you will want to try Sir Stuart Black & Green Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee!

Bianca from The NecessiTeas. . . . .
I’m long overdue for reviewing a flavored white tea so I figured today was as good as a day as any! Bianca from The Necessiteas is a flavored white tea sure to impress! I know it impressed me!
With lovely white tea flavored with lemon peel, lemongrass, lavender, marigold petals, natural and organic flavors it was hard to go wrong with this choice in flavored white teas
It was slightly sweet, creamy, floral, and citrusy upfront and lingered nicely, to boot! Because of its low caffeine it makes for a satisfying cup almost any time of day!
Bianca from the Necessiteas is YUMMY hot or cold, equally, in my opinion.
I doubt I would change anything about this tea. But if you are feeling a little squirrelly you could add a hint of mint to change it up without compromising the overall flavor of this tea. It’s not needed but adding mint is never a bad thing in my book!
This is a tea I could easily drink nearly each and every day!
