I’m a fan of coconut any time of year. Whether it’s the hottest days of summer or the dark, snowy depths of winter I find myself in a better mood when I can taste a bit of the tropics. Throw in some lemon – another favorite of mine – and I’m a happy girl. BlendBee took both flavors and mixed them with a delicate white to create White Coconut. Just thinking about the mix of flavors made me want to do a happy dance.
The dry leaves are lovely to look at. There is a mix of tea leaves, coconut flakes, lemon peel, and lemon balm. The smell of the tea is coconut and sweetness. Smelling this made me smile because, honestly, this tea smells like candy.
As I said, I am a fan of both coconut and lemon, so I was looking forward to what this tea had to offer. While I found the scent of the tea delicious and charming I didn’t find the tea itself as impressive. I was thrown off by the sweetness of the stevia leaf while still searching for the combination of coconut and lemon I could smell but not taste. As the tea cooled I noticed more of the coconut flavor, and what I could taste was good. I just wanted a little more. The lemony flavors from the lemon balm and lemon peel eluded me altogether.
I can’t say this is a go-to tea for me, but I can see how tea lovers looking for a flavored tea with softer notes could appreciate it. It also has a good amount of sweetness without added sugar. It might be just the thing satiate a sweet tooth before it gets out of control. So, if you’re looking for a sweet, lightly flavored white tea and you’re a coconut lover then this might be the tea for you!

Raspberries & Champagne? Yes, please! How about Raspberries & Champagne Tea from Nelson’s Tea? Again…YES…PLEASE!
Even tho Raspberries & Champagne Tea from Nelson’s Tea only contains White Tea, Safflower, and flavoring they must be top notch ingredients because the delicate white tea is sweet, floral, and totally what I look for in a white tea and the Raspberries & Champagne Flavors are just that…Raspberries & Champagne. Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas
Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas is a flavored white tea and the aroma AND flavor will captivate you as it did me!
According to the product description Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas has orange peel, blackberries, cornflower and marigold petals and natural flavors paired with the white tea base. Eventho I could taste a hint of blackberry, orange, and various floral notes I could have sworn I was also tasting a bit of lemon and a spec of vanilla, too, but perhaps I am wrong. Maybe it’s just the outcome of Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas’ over all flavor with these ingredients blended and combined that proves a flavor all of its own.
Either way – I am absolutely LOVING Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas! As it cools at room temperature a bit more the wine or champagne like flavors seem to come out a bit more. This is YUMMY hot or cold! And with it being very low in caffeine I know I can enjoy it almost any time of day! YAY!

Taster’s Review:
Last night the hubby and I drank the last of my Do You Tea? stash. Sad, but I have to say, I’m glad I ended the stash with this tea, Spicy Shore.
I am not a huge fan of chai teas but every once in a while there is a chai blend that really catches my attention. This blend is one of them!
Spicy Shore is a lovely white tea chai blend. Full of sweet notes and spicy hints, this tea really delivers a lovely complex flavor. The dry leaf emits a vibrant pineapple flavor with a spicy hint ginger hint.
Brewed up per the instructions on the package, first sip in, I knew this tea and I were going to be friends. Sweet notes of pineapple mingled with a spicy kick of ginger and cardamom-surrounded by a lush and creamy white tea finish. Really light yet full of flavor. There isn’t one overpowering flavor over another.
This really is the the perfect chai tea for the non chai tea fan. Subtle but full of flavor. No punch you in the face chai flavors that I’m used to. I found that you didn’t need to add in any honey or milk, but I could see where a small drop of honey could really heighten the flavors.
Do You Tea? outdid themselves yet again! A wonderful chai tea to drink anytime that I will need to pick up again! I can only imagine how dynamite this tea would be as a cold brew!
