Where To Buy:
Camellia Sinensis
Product Description:
This white tea is very unusual combination of Darjeeling terroir, pure assamica tea, and the artisanal expertise of Avongrove’s Mr.Subba. Large silken buds give a relatively dark infusion and liquor due to the assamica’s chemistry. Rich and creamy in the cup with a smooth, full attack of cocoa butter and hazelnut notes that linger into a long pleasant aftertaste.

I’m just going to say…right off the bat…I LOVE THIS WHITE TEA!
I don’t think you understand…I love it! I mean I REALLY LOVE IT!
Darjeeling Avongrove from Camellia Sinensis has amazing cocoa notes after infusing. It really came alive once I added the pipping hot water! The natural aroma is very powerful and truly crave-worthy!
The taste is delicious! It has cocoa and hazelnut hints but the white tea itself is top quality and smooth, silky, creamy, and a true delight!
This white tea really has me craving more! I just might declare this one of my favorite white teas of all-time!
Let’s just say it had me at HELLO.

Tasters Review:
Premium Silky Green Tea from Bird Pick Tea & Herb has an AWESOME aroma! It’s like nothing I have ever smelled before!
The only way I can describe the dry loose leaf aroma is intensely buttered flavored popcorn – I think I can even smell a little naturally salted flavor – unless I just am associating the aroma with buttered popcorn so much so that my mind is playing tricks on me! Whatever it is I have to say I would easily give the aroma on this one a 100!!!!
These are some crazy wild leaves, too, that put on quite the show as they unfurl!
The taste is also Buttery! Buttered Veggies! Buttered Popcorn! It’s semi-sweet and a very flavorful green! The more I sip it the more sweeter it gets! This is smooth! It reminds me of a milky oolong but then it reminds me of a buttery green! It may be somewhere in the middle – regardless I am REALLY enjoying this one!
This is probably one of the most memorable greens I have had in a LONG time!
I ended up doing multiple infusions on this one too! I highly recommend trying multiple infusions with this one! The 2nd infusions is completely different than the first but far from disappointing!!!!
This is MUCH sweeter and MUCH MORE silkier and creamy and sooth the 2nd time around! It’s less buttery and more sweet with the 2nd infusion. It’s still FULL of flavor tho and a wonderful tasting green!!!
As for the 3rd infusion…
Again it’s completely different from the previous infusion! This is still intensely flavored but this time around it’s more of a grassy green with slight buttery notes underneath. It still ends rather smooth and I would still call it silky but a grassier silky instead of a buttered popcorn silky/creamy…maybe more like a broccoli type!?
I LOVE YOU Silky Green!
Nepali Oolong Tea from The Tao of Tea
Where To Buy: The Tao of Tea
Product Description:
Very buttery, almost void of any astringency. Full-bodied, smooth with flavor of dried, preserved plums.
Tasters Review:
Nepali Oolong from The Tao of Tea has a faded fresh yet cocoa-powder aroma to it before infusing.
The leaves are WILD and fun! They almost have a natural tye-dyed effect with natural and earthy colors! I LOVE these leaves!
The smell of this completely changes as it infuses! While infusing there is a nice, unique scent…buttery but very plum-like with a hint of nuttiness! The leaves are swimming and dancing around in my cup. They are very active lil buggers! They have a lot of character! I like that in a tea!
The color of the liquor is very light brown with almost a greyness to it.
The taste is very pure. It seems to quench my thirst. There are both fruity and nutty flavors present…maybe more plum notes than nut notes, however.
This is a VERY Impressive Oolong! It’s creamy and buttery and has a very nice aftertaste!
Earl Grey Vanilla Almond Tea from TeaScapes

This loose leaf black tea is perfect for desserts or for just a pure indulgence.
Tasters Review:
This is unlike anything I have EVER smelled in my life! It’s powerful and has attitude! And I like that!
The DRY Aroma – I can smell Almond right off the bat! Right after that scent follows the Earl Grey! I can smell both – both together and separately! It’s very intense! And VERY Unique!
After infusing – the almond tones down quite a bit and the Earl Grey comes thru even more.
The color of the infused liquid is that of a medium brown.
The taste is out of this world!
I can taste the bold black tea wonderfully! Then I can taste the nicely done Earl Grey flavors and THEN the Almond barges thru! The vanilla slides in towards the end of the sip and smooths it out pleasantly.
This is such a FUN tea! I think it’s just GREAT! I’m very impressed with the aroma, flavors, and creativity of both! This is a REAL winner!

Tasters Review:
If it says “Cheesecake” I’ll probably try it!
At first sip I thought this was creamy and that was about it besides the honeybush and rooibos flavors but then I waited about 2 minutes at room temp…things changed from there on! The blueberry flavor plumped right up and was very tasty. There was still a great deal of creaminess to it tho.
I’m not sure if I would say cheesecake-like but it’s certainly creamy! As for aroma I can smell the blueberries slightly but not overly so.
It is VERY dark in color once infused especially for a Rooibos and/or Honeybush. The after taste is a blueberry and ends with a tiny floral taste.
I don’t know if I would say this about many other tisanes but I enjoy the creamy flavor mixed with the blueberry and I appreciate the blueberry not tasting fake or over the top!
Overall this was quite good and I would certainly have it again!
