Taster’s Review:
Oh my! Can you say raspberry candy aroma?!? I think you can.
This tea bag smells just like raspberry candy. Incredibly fruity and very sweet smelling. This is another tea bag that I found in a box that I have sorely neglected. I thought I’d try this one as a nice after lunch sort of treat. Typically right after lunch, I crave something sweet. I’m hoping this herbal will do the trick!
I threw this tea bag in a cuppa water that was boiling for about 5 minutes. Since there is hibiscus in this, I didn’t want to let it steep for too long. First sip and I really am not getting any true flavors except just for a hot beverage. So I decided to let this steep just a bit longer.
Took another sip and while this smells so sweet and candy like, the flavor is more mild and subtle. The raspberry and rose are gentle but bring a nice quiet flavor. There is a sweetness there but I can’t really put my finger on what is bringing the sweetness out. I see that in the ingredients listed there is vanilla, but I don’t think that is it.
I’m quite surprised with this tea. With the fragrance that is coming from my tea cup, you’d think I was drinking the sweetest sugary raspberry tea that there ever was. Instead I am greeted with this relaxed slightly raspberry slightly floral herbal tea. I can barely even taste the hibiscus. This might be one I need to experiment and play with more. Maybe even try this one as a cold brew or iced tea. I’m quite content with this one.
Usually I feel that The Republic of Tea has either hit or miss teas. . This one just might be a hit.

Taster’s Review:
Yes. You are reading the name of this tea correctly. Cookie. This tea smells just like a fresh baked sugar cookie with hints of caramel. I was sticking my nose in the pouch for about a minute straight because I couldn’t believe how much this really did smell like a cookie.
Lupicia is known for their delicious flavored teas especially their green ones. I had heard a lot of hype about this particular blend so I was excited to try it.
Brewed this up-212F-4 minutes. Let it cool for just a moment and took a sip. Yes, this does taste just like a fresh baked cookie. I would love to have tried this tea with just a splash of almond milk to see what other flavors will pop out. It is quite good on its own as well. The black tea is solid and is quite nice in the background and their are notes of maybe cinnamon and even almond thru each sip. Nicely done for a dessert tea. If you are in the market for a dessert tea to curb that 3pm sugar monster that you can’t avoid, try this one.
Saying all of this tho, I’m not a big cookie fan. I like them on occasion but I couldn’t see drinking this tea all the time just because I’d rather have a fruity flavor in my tea than the cookie flavor. What I would love to see is this tea made up into a latte which I might just do tonight when I get home. Now that could give me the wow factor I’ve been looking for.

Taster’s Review:
Wow is it hot today. Like crazy smoldering hot. The kind of hot that makes you feel icky and gross as soon as you step outside. So today is a stay inside and catch up on projects sort of day. Oh and drink lots of tea. So that is my new plan. Drink lots of tea and do some reviews.
I thought this would be a good one to start with. The dry leaves had a nice sweet mango fragrance that just called to be made up like an iced tea. So that is exactly what I did. Brewed this up like I would a traditional black tea (212F-3 min) and then allowed it to cool. Added ice and took a sip.
Yum! Sweet tropical paradise. This brewed as an iced tea had such a nice subtle sweet taste. You could still taste the fantastic black tea base but there was a sweet mango flavor in there too. This is a great simple mango black tea. Not a knock you in the face sort of mango, just hints of mango. So nice. I was very pleased. This is exactly want I was wanting today. I can’t wait to take the rest of the loose leaf I have and try this as a cold brew. That is exactly what is accompanying me on my way to work tomorrow. Can’t wait!
Another fantastic tea from Mountain Witch Tea Company.

Taster’s Review:
It is officially iced tea time! I love summer. I am a “cold” blooded person so when the weather starts getting warmer out- I love it. Even in 80-90 degree weather you’ll find me with a sweater on . I get made fun of quite a bit, but I’m told it is all in good fun.
Besides making iced tea, I’m currently addicted to cold brewing tea. Threw some tea into a pitcher and the next morning-VIOLA! you have amazing tea. What I have found is that when you cold brew a tea, you can take a tea blend that was ok or so-so to a tea that is full of flavor!
That is the case with this tea for sure. I brewed this peach flavored black tea as a traditional black tea-212F-3 min. Took a sip and to be honest, the flavor was ok. The peach flavor was nice and the black tea base mixed well, but this hot cuppa didn’t give me the “Wow” factor I was looking for. The flavors were subtle and the cuppa didn’t leave much of an impression on me.
Cold brewed this tea and wow- did my opinion on this tea completely change. This tea reminds me of fresh peaches. The cold brewing really helped draw out more of the flavor. The black tea base is slightly astringent but I liked the contrast. Sweet juicy fresh peaches. So perfect for the summer!
My only thought would be to add a touch of vanilla and this tea would be amazing! A cold brewed peach vanilla iced tea? Yes please!

Taster’s Review:
I have been on such an SBT kick. I started cold brewing tea and am completely obsessed with it. And what is the easiest way to cold brew teas- Southern Boy Teas!
So during the last sale, I stocked up. And I went through these awesome iced tea pouches quick! This is one of the ones that I instantly said “Yep” and threw it in my cart.
Last night threw this one in my pitcher, added water, and into the fridge it went. This morning I poured myself a huge glass of it, threw some ice in it, and underwent my morning routine of taking my kids to school.
I was hoping this would be one that I would fall completely 100% in love with . . .but alas no. This tastes like a solid white tea. That part I love. It has that delicate touch to it. The part I am not 100% on is the lime. I really didn’t pick up any of the lemon at all. Just lime. And it is more of a tart lime. A bold lime. A hit you in the face sort of lime. Which is fine, but I really wanted that lemon lime taste. I stopped drinking soda about 6 months ago and Diet Sprite or Diet Sierra Mist I still crave. I was hoping this would take the place of those cravings and help me with my sweet tooth when I have those cravings. Maybe if I tried again or if I brewed it up hot, maybe the lemon would come out more. I’m sure if I played around with it, they would. Or if I added in some sugar. That might help too.
This is delicious if you are looking for a lime tea with a delicate white tea base or finish. Don’t get me wrong, this is very tasty. Just not what my little ol heart was wanting at the time.
