If I have smelled a more potent vanilla coconut tea aroma than Coconut Decadence (Black) Tea from Beleave Teas I honestly don’t remember what it is. Coconut Decadence (Black) Tea from Beleave Teas has a wonderfully powerful vanilla and coconut smell to it. I would say a tad more vanilla than coconut but both sniffs were strong and welcome!
Coconut Decadence (Black) Tea from Beleave Teas woke the taste buds, too! It has a strong dark black tea base to keep up with the flavoring! Once on the tongue the coconut and vanilla flavors merge into one to make a flavor of it’s own. The sip can be a little astringent if over infused but sometimes I like that depending on the base and it seemed to work here.
Personally, I would put this Coconut Decadence (Black) Tea from Beleave Teas into my ‘flavored black teas for a rough morning’ category. It is a good pick-me-up tea! The aftertaste of this Coconut Decadence (Black) Tea from Beleave Teas provided an interesting coconut-vanilla-chocolate type end sip and aftertaste as well. It was unlike any other tea I have tasted before which is nice because I’m always looking for flavored teas that stand out above the rest – especially flavored black teas.

Taster’s Review:
Today we need to have a serious chat…a serious chat about Magicienne Green Tea from NINA’S Paris…that is! Magicienne Green Tea from NINA’S Paris is a lovely flavored green tea that I had recently that was not only gentle on the nose but impressive on the tongue!
Magicienne Green Tea from NINA’S Paris is a combo of pineapple, coconut, and green tea. The pineapple gives this flavored green tea a juicy and tart zing without it being overpowering. The coconut gives it a certain creaminess that pairs well with the pineapple. Finally…the green tea base is just as nice, too! It’s of medium strength but doesn’t give off that ‘stale flower’ taste that some green teas tend to. Nor does this green tea base taste like sweet peas like others can from time to time.
Everything about Magicienne Green Tea from NINA’S Paris is nicely done from the aroma to the taste. The flavor balance couldn’t be more perfect. If you like flavored green teas try Magicienne Green Tea from NINA’S Paris!

Taster’s Review:
Tropical Black Tea from Tea Is Chi didn’t last in my stash for very long! There are several reasons why and I hope to cover a few of them in this write up today!
When I think of Tropical or Island locations I think coconut and/or tropical fruit and a minty-fresh breeze. Very few Tropical flavored teas seem to add that minty-freshness so when I saw that Tropical Black Tea from Tea Is Chi not only added a strong black tea base with sweet and nutty dried coconut paired with refreshing peppermint I was overjoyed to try it! Once I tried this tea – it didn’t disappoint! It actually went above and beyond my expectations not only in aroma but also in flavor!
The black tea base was sturdy enough to stand up to the coconut and mint it was paired with – as well as satisfy my own personal black tea base level of flavor preference. The dried coconut was top-notch! It couldn’t have been more perfect to the eye, touch and feel, and taste! It was sweet yet nutty and contributed to the overall flavor. Then there was the cooling, fresh, minty-goodness of the peppermint! The peppermint flavor packed a punch and was very nicely done. Keeping all 3 ingredients in mind – I was completely satisfied and pleased with this flavored black tea to the highest level!
Tropical Black Tea from Tea Is Chi really took this Tropical Flavored Black to the next level just by adding that peppermint to it. I sure hope other companies don’t shy away from adding minty-goodness to their Tropical Themed Teas…after all…what is a tropical atmosphere without a nice fresh breeze, am I right?

Taster’s Review:
We’re a long way from summer now, so a tropical themed tea feels a little out of place but just because this might not be the ideal season to drink it doesn’t mean it’s not going to be super tasty! So, when I cold brewed this tea I did my absolute best to be open minded about it. And honestly, it wasn’t hard: the coconut in the blend smells super fresh and yummy and I could see lots of goji berries which are a fruit I’ve really tried to learn more about this year. Both are things for me to get excited about.
Like I said, this was cold brewed because Lauren from A Quarter to Tea specifically said on the tea’s page that it’s great iced. I don’t normally ice teas, but I do cold brew them! I find, if a company is going to specifically point out a way to try their tea I want to take that into consideration.
Mostly; I thought this was just a really nice smooth, vegetal and grassy cold brewed green tea that demonstrated characteristics of both the Chinese and Japanese style greens in the blend. On top of the really enjoyable base, the coconut was quite a dominant flavour. It tastes insanely fresh! It’s a nice balance between tropical “Pina Colada” type coconut and a more confectionery type coconut. It reminds me of DT’s Coconut Grove which is something I haven’t gotten to say in a LONG time since that delightful blend has been discontinued for a while now.
Sadly, none of the fruit really seems to contribute much flavour. I certainly don’t taste the goji and I just barely taste the faintest citrus flavour on the finish of the cup. I’d never be able to identify it as tangerine is I wasn’t reading an ingredients list. I don’t mind the absence of fruit because I get to enjoy the coconut, but I doubt that’s entirely what was intended and if you’re looking for fruit flavour you may be disappointed with this blend.
Regardless, it was a good experience for me.
