I like Coconut. I like Joy. So why not a cup of Coconut Joy from The Tea Can Company? Sure…why not!? This Coconut Joy Tea from The Tea Can Company contains Ceylon Black Tea, Coconut Flakes, and Coconut Flavoring! Let me tell you…it’s a whole lotta coconut!
So…in a NUTshell…if you like coconut you just might enjoy this flavored black tea! I know I did! The Black Tea base was fairly strong but seemed to grab the flavors around it quite nicely, too! The coconut flavors were eye-opening and made my taste buds sweat. Yes, folks, it was nearly a DROOL. Together these flavors gave off more of a deep dark chocolate type taste with REAL coconut flavor connections. Not the alcohol flavor kind of coconut.
It DOES sort of remind me of the Almond Joy/Mounds I suppose. It’s been ions since I had one but it’s reminiscent of the tasty treat. I really like the deep, dark, rich, coconut and dark chocolate flavors. This is pretty special. I would add this to my secret stash! YUM!

Taster’s Review:
Tonight was just one of those nights were I was craving an herbal tea. I looked thru my tea stash and stumbled upon this beauty. I have been wanting to try tea from the Tea Dude in a long time and it was finally time!
This particular tea is an herbal with a lemon flair. First whiff of the dry leaves you definitely get that familiar herbal aroma but with a fresh kiss of a citrus touch. Gentle yet there. I couldn’t wait to steep this up. Scooped out a few scoops into my tea pot and boiled water. About 8 minutes later, I was ready to try my first sip.
The description nails this one. This tea does have a candy sweetness that reminds you of PEZ. I love candy so this was perfect for me. Sweet with a lemon twist in every sip. There isn’t an earthy or grassy like flavor that you can get from herbals. This is just straight delicious lemon flavored herbal tea. This tea is a perfect tea to just sit down with a good book and snuggle in. Or with a good show and binge all 5 seasons in one day. I can see myself getting lost with a cuppa of this in a horror movie. I can also see this being an incredibly soothing tea to enjoy after a long stressful day or even if you have sinus issues like I do. Calming, relaxing, soothing and great tasting. . .I’m so impressed with this delight!
To me this is the perfect herbal tea. Sweet yet not overly so with a hint of that honeybush flavor I do so enjoy. Lemon Candy Pez. . . I’m in!

Taster’s Review:
If you haven’t taken a whiff of this tea while its steeping, you are missing out. This tea had such an amazing sweet candy with an almost berry dessert wine profile.
I received this tea bag from a fellow tea pal from Steepster and was excited to try it. Lupicia has some amazing teas. With a name like Rose Royal, I just knew this had to be amazing.
Steeped this up like a traditional black but made an error. I left the tea bag in. This tea turned bitter quickly. The first few sips were fabulous. The taste matched the aroma I was loving. Sweet Berry Wine with a strong black tea base. Oh so good. Hit all the right notes. A flavored tea that isn’t overwhelming.
But then I got distracted with a phone call here and an email there. When I went back to the tea, it was a bitter sad brew. I could still smell that amazing aroma but the taste had turned on me.
Even tho my first jaunt with this tea didn’t turn out the way I wanted to, I still loved those first few sips. This tea will be on my list to pick more up once I sipdown some more teas. Which this is #14. Woot Woot!
