Taster’s Review:
When it comes to bananas, I never really considered them to be a favorite fruit. However, my actions seem to tell a different story. When I go to Cold Stone Creamery, I seem to order the same thing: Cake Batter ice cream with banana, caramel and almonds. And I love banana cupcakes and ice pops.
But I don’t really like to eat them on their own. And I don’t like banana Runts, in fact, on the rare occasion that I happen to have a bag of Runts candy (maybe once a year, if that? I’m usually just sneaking a couple out of my daughter’s package of candy) I never eat the banana ones. Interestingly enough, many people often say that banana flavored teas taste like banana runts, but I totally disagree with that, because I LOVE banana flavored teas!
And this banana flavored white tea from The Rabbit Hole may just be one of the best banana flavored teas I’ve tried yet. It tastes like the fruit, only sweeter … but it doesn’t taste like banana runts. It tastes more like the banana that I’d enjoy as its surrounded by the Cake Batter ice cream from Cold Stone.
The white tea tastes sweet with a hint of nutty flavor to it. It has a smooth and creamy texture which lends itself very well to the ice cream comparison I made a moment ago. I like that while the banana flavor is very distinct, it doesn’t overwhelm the flavor of the white tea.
Served hot, it has a warm, soothing kind of effect: like comfort food in liquid form. Served chilled, it has a very refreshing, invigorating taste that both adults and kids enjoy.
I LOVE this tea!

Taster’s Review:
Ah, Earl Grey… it seems like it’s been so long since I’ve had a cup, when in reality it probably has only been a couple of days. But for me, Earl Grey is one of those teas that I always look forward to, and when I’ve gone more than a day or two without drinking Earl Grey, I find myself missing it and mentally chastising myself for forgetting about my dear Mr. Grey.
The aroma is exactly what I expect when I open a package of Earl Grey. There really is no scent that is quite like bergamot, and the bergamot fragrance here is so very vibrant (or ZESTY as this tea can be found under the Zesty category on The Rabbit Hole website).
I am really enjoying this cup of Grey Rabbit. While this tea has a very strong scent, flavor wise this is a softer, gentler kind of Earl Grey. That is to say, it isn’t “in-your-face” with the bergamot flavor. It is very delicate and has a very smooth, subtle approach.
The black tea is a delicious, robust black tea that provides a solid background flavor. It is somewhat astringent, and there is a slight bitter note to it – just a hint of bitterness – and it compliments the tangy flavor of the bergamot quite nicely.
The bergamot is so wonderful in this particular tea. I generally do prefer my bergamot to be much stronger, but somehow, this lighter touch of bergamot is absolutely perfect. It is tangy, slightly sweet, and distinctive even in its subtlety.
As an Earl enthusiast, I can appreciate the softer tones this tea has to offer, and I enjoy that it is different from an ordinary Earl Grey. I think that those who have found Earl Grey to be a bit too overwhelming in the past will really find this Grey Rabbit quite appealing as well. This is an excellent Earl Grey.

This classic little black will get those peepers open with its great smooth and hearty flavour.
Taster’s Review:
I’m sleepy. I didn’t sleep very well last night, and unfortunately, I cannot head back to bed because I’ve got things to do today. So, I’m hoping that this breakfast blend will help me shake that desire to sleep and help me get going!
Smooth! It has a robust flavor. It’s good and strong. Sweet undertones that can be enhanced by the addition of sweetener if you like your tea sweeter, but, I am finding this to be quite nice without any addition. This would also be very nice served latte-style with a splash of milk.
There is some astringency to this, it develops as I sip. I didn’t really notice much astringency with the first couple of sips, and now as I’m nearly finished, I am noticing a slightly dry astringency toward the tail.
A very fine cup of tea to start the day, and yes … I’m feeling much more awake than before I started this review. A delicious cup of gusto!

Tasters Review:
Many of you know I look high and low for the Earl Grey’s that stand out in some way…whether it’s an above-average strict EG or it’s a flavored Earl with new and exciting additions to the mix…I want to know about it and I want to try it! Tasters Review:
I have to say I am down-right excited and giddy to bring several Rabbit Hole Tea Reviews to you over the next few weeks and months! This Organic Rabbit Hole Chai is the first of many we will be reviewing here at SororiTEA Sisters! The Rabbit Hole Organic Tea Bar is located in Australia and online and I must say I am VERY impressed with this company, their offerings, and their customer service!
As for their signature Chai…the dry aroma is very memorable! It has that chai aroma but the black tea is bold and not hidden by the spices AND is almost fruity to the nose…maybe a little bubblegum type scent to it trying to hide underneath. It’s quite unique.
Once infused the spices play a wonderful part! The bubblegum or fruit notes I was smelling before were no longer there but there is a surprising sweetness to the taste and a perfect-for-my-preferences-chai taste to it!
This is a very special chai! I like this! Probably one of my favorite chai’s to date! I downed 3 infusions rather fast – shortly after my initial taste-test…I couldn’t help it…IT was just THAT good!
