Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas is a flavored white tea and the aroma AND flavor will captivate you as it did me!
According to the product description Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas has orange peel, blackberries, cornflower and marigold petals and natural flavors paired with the white tea base. Eventho I could taste a hint of blackberry, orange, and various floral notes I could have sworn I was also tasting a bit of lemon and a spec of vanilla, too, but perhaps I am wrong. Maybe it’s just the outcome of Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas’ over all flavor with these ingredients blended and combined that proves a flavor all of its own.
Either way – I am absolutely LOVING Summer Sangria from The NecessiTeas! As it cools at room temperature a bit more the wine or champagne like flavors seem to come out a bit more. This is YUMMY hot or cold! And with it being very low in caffeine I know I can enjoy it almost any time of day! YAY!

Rajah Collection Organic Masala Chai from Hope & Glory
I have to say I have being having so much fun going thru the Hope & Glory Shipment that was sent and Rajah Collection Organic Masala Chai from Hope & Glory is one of those teas that I am VERY MUCH enjoying thus far!
I LOVE the packaging! It goes along with their brand. It’s colorful and clean. The packaging also explains a lot with very little wordage. It’s eye-catching and easy to comprehend while on-the-go! On the back of the package I am looking at for the Rajah Collection Organic Masala Chai from Hope & Glory offering I noticed the ingredient breakdown and ratio.
The leaf grade of the Rajah Collection Organic Masala Chai from Hope & Glory is Orthodox Leaf – FBOP. This blend of ingredients are 70% Organic Ceylon Black Tea, 30% fresh blend of organic spices which are made up of ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, and black pepper.
I really appreciate the fact that Hope & Glory used 70% for the ratio of black tea base to the 30% chai spices. The chai spices are perfectly done to my own personal liking. The spices are not over powering nor are they too weak – they are JUST RIGHT! Rajah Collection Organic Masala Chai from Hope & Glory is quite thrilling and certainly a tea I will be sharing with MANY.

Yun Nan Dian Hong Golden Tip Black Tea from Teavivre
The dry leaves of this tea are beautiful and aromatic, which I noticed as I opened the sample. The gold tips are distinctly visible before steeping. Since it’s a delicate tea with a recommended steeping temperature of 176 degrees, I allowed the water to cool for a couple of minutes after boiling before I lowered the infuser in. For the first steeping I allowed three minutes in about 8 ounces of water. It came out not exactly reddish but not super dark either, more of a dusky amberish. Quite a nice color. The scent was sweetly fragrant and a little bit floral. When I took a sip I discovered a surprisingly light, sweet flavor. It’s relatively smooth and not bitter, with just a bit of astringency, mostly in the aftertaste. The aftertaste was also quite pleasantly floral, which I liked.

Royal Blend From Full Leaf Tea Co
This is a lovely blend, with leaves of black, gold, and green, tiny rosebuds, and lavender flowers. The dry blend smells lovely and displays beautifully on a leaf holder.
Oh, the dilemma of what to do when a tea is a black tea/green tea blend! Boiling water to draw out the flavor and robustness of the black tea or cooler to prevent scalding of the green? Many green teas are hardy and require near boiling water so I compromised a bit and used 200F for three minutes.
When I taste it, I am instantly reminded of Christmas. This puzzles me at first. Then I remember my spicy roses that have a clove scent. These rosebuds have the clove scent! This tea tastes every so lightly of clove and the lavender is more subdued than the rose to me.
Since it is a drying tea, this means “goes well with food” in my book! I help myself to a thin and crispy cinnamon sugar cookie and take another sip. Ah yes, I can still taste all the flavors in the tea! This will be a good pairing to remember for the future. As drying as it is, I would not drink it by itself much, but I will definitely be pairing it with light sweets when guests are here. A guest who really only loves black tea tried it without knowing what was in it, took a sip, and said, “Oh, that’s a good one!”
I got a pretty nice second steep from the leaves, too. Bonus!
