This morning my tea infusers are all full of teas that I plan to re-steep but don’t currently feel like drinking, so I decided that now is the perfect time to try this tea, which comes in a handy and elegant pyramid-shaped sachet. I steeped it for five minutes, which I spent wondering if it would taste like a baked good. I mean, vanilla and almond flavoring are two of the most common flavorings for cookies and stuff, right?
Here’s the scoop!

Taster’s Review:
This is a really tasty tea: very richly flavored with a sweet, natural-tasting coconut essence. It leaves that sweet sort of creamy feeling in the mouth, similar to the texture and sensation that occurs in the mouth after eating coconut.
The black tea is a bit milder than I expected. It has a slight bitter aftertaste to it that sits on the tongue. It is very slight, though, and isn’t really off-putting, and even cuts through a bit of the sweeter notes of the coconut. Other than the slight bitterness, the black tea taste melds very well with the coconut: coconut and tea become a deliciously unified flavor.
This tea is delicious hot (try it latte with a splash of milk … or try a little coconut milk for an extra special treat!), and it is also very good iced.

Tasters Review:
I LOVE Apricots and Peaches. I always have! As a matter of fact…when I was a toddler my mother used to buy me dehydrated apricots and I would eat them right out of the bag! I mean, what little kid voluntarily eats Apricots, eh!? It’s like I couldn’t get enough of them! I still like them to this day!
I also like Ginger in many things…mostly food. Usually I don’t gravitate to the Ginger Teas that I see right away because the ones I have had in the past are either “Too Much Ginger” that is overwhelms the rest of the ingredients or it’s “fake tasting”.
It seems I have struggled to find many Ginger Flavors that work with my palate…until NOW…
This Ginger, Peach, and Apricot Flavored Black Tea from Boston Tea Co is terrific!
Another description I found for this tea – in short – is listed on Steepster as:
Ginger bits, lush peaches and apricots blended with Chinese black tea and enhanced with natural ginger-peach flavor add up to a delightfully sweet-tart refresher.
That pretty much sums it up! My thoughts are that the Peach and Apricot seem to be pretty good friends in this flavored black tea. It seems to have the perfect amount of ginger for my liking!
So far…this is one of my favorites from Boston Tea Co.
