French Toast Tea. I’ve had a few. The ones I have tried I have adored. More than one of the French Toast flavored teas have been from 52 Teas whom I also adore. Today I want to tell you about Coconut French Toast with Cardamom Maple Syrup from 52 Teas.
The name in itself is a thinker. Coconut French Toast with Cardamom Maple Syrup. My dyslexic brain converted the name to Coconut French Toast Cardamom with Maple Syrup. Either would have worked, I suppose. But I guess the Maple Syrup was Cardamom Flavored and not necessarily the French Toast.
Regardless – this was wonderful. And it didn’t stay in my stash for long. Just a few short days, actually.
The black tea base was on the stronger side. There was a pretty spot-on liking to a French Toast flavor that is for sure. The Cardamom was present and pleasing. The Maple Syrup sweetness was subtle but true. The coconut added to the overall sweetness but also provided a separate and stand alone sweetness standing beside the sweetness of the Maple Syrup flavor. There is even a speck of cinnamon to top things off!
52 Teas has SURELY done it again with this wonderfully flavored black tea!

Matcha Done Right. . . . #KissMeOrganics
Kiss Me Organics! LOVE the name of the company! And I have to say they have one of the most comprehensive websites I have seen in a while. Everything is very nicely done – from the multi-media to the colors and theme to the info and beyond!
They have some really sleek and trendy tools and tea gadgets on their site, too, but today I want to share with you my experiences with their Organic Matcha Culinary Grade Green Tea Powder from Japan.
The company markets it as an all day energy and metabolism boost, something that increases your focus, improves skin health, and offers up to 137 times the EGCG of brewed green tea. I personally am not focused on the claims – I’m more interested in the texture and taste but it each it’s own!
Moving on to the texture and taste I have to say both are incredibly impressive! While whisking – it only bubbled up for a milli-second or so before the bubble/froth diminished. More importantly for what I was looking for while preparing my matcha recently was to make sure that it was completely smooth without any lumps or clumps or grit. I had all the success in the world! It was very easy to whisk and turn the powder into silky liquid matcha with little effort!
The color was a vibrant, solid, green with slight grey shadow to it. The taste was AMAZING! It was ‘green’ tasting but creamy and smooth, too! It was delicious! It was strong without being bitter. It was everything I was looking for in a straight-up matcha!
For our readers- Kiss Me Organics is offering a 10% coupon-use SororiTeaMatcha.

Lavender Fans Take Notice! #TheLoveTeaCo
Anything with LOVE in the name of the company I can’t wait to learn more about and try their products – especially if they are TEA companies so when I heard we were getting teas from The Love Tea Co I was super excited!
The first tea I tried from this company was their Black Lavender. At first glance of the loose leaf I thought it was more Lavender than Black Tea but after a closer look I noticed the ratio from leaf to flower or flower to leaf was about 50/50.
After infusing the contents I noticed the tea liquor was of a lighter brown in the cup. The intense yet beautiful lavender aroma was prominent that is for sure.
The flavor of this Lavender flavored Black Tea had a mellower black tea base and a more ‘in your face’ Lavender flavor.
Their website says…Lavender lovers, this is for you. All the calming qualities of this popular scent and flavor with a kick of caffeine to get your day started. This Brilliant Blend is one you won’t want to miss. Blended with our fine quality First Flush Darjeeling and a Lavender Super Blue, it will get you going but keep you calm for the day ahead.
I agree it was nicely blended. And the quality of the Lavender was TOP NOTCH! It was a more creamier Lavender which I was extremely grateful for because I have had some that were more of a stale flower flavor. This wasn’t the case here and I applaud them and that.
This was a goodie and I can’t wait to try more of their teas! Spread a little LOVE today, folks! We all need more of it!

Unique Hand Blended Treat from Harlow Tea Co. . #CitrusZing
I was thumbing thru my tea stash recently and decided to dive into Citrus Zing from Harlow Tea. It’s a Black Tea and Yerba Mate blended base. It has other surprises in there as well including lemongrass, orange peel, lemon peel, stevia leaf, tulsi, eleuthero root, myrtle leaf, and tangerine peel.
This tea was pretty good. It was a unique flavor combo. I appreciate Harlow Tea blending Black Tea with Yerba Mate and not stopping there but taking it to the next level of flavor with the other ingredients.
The stevia leaf threw me off a bit. I’m not overly fond of stevia in teas but after I continued to sip on this for a while I liked it more and more and it seemed to make more sense with the overall flavor. The trio of citrus peels combated that stevia flavor nicely and worked well.
The black tea was more on the mellow side. The Yerba Mate didn’t really have that stereotypical ‘pea’ taste I connect with Yerba Mate but that is totally fine with me – it’s not like I was craving fresh peas anyway!
This was satisfying hot but I think I would like it even better cold because of the sweetness of the stevia leaf. I like my teas straight-up with no added cream or sugars so this was sweet enough. I still think if you are the type that likes to throw sweeteners in your teas I would suggest trying it straight-up first as it IS already sweet on its own.
Neat flavor combo here! Citrus Zing from Harlow Tea assisted my morning not too long ago! And it was a might fine morning at that!
