Taster’s Review:
The moment I opened my sample bag of Rainforest Nectar from Della Terra Teas I knew two things. First I knew that I was going to be ordering more soon. Second I knew I had to have it iced. This tea is scrumptious hot, but iced, it is just nothing short of dreamy!
This tea brings back memories, memories before I was a loose leaf tea lover, and once in a great while would find a tea that was so yummy that I had to buy some. This tea specifically reminds me of a tea that I once bought from a local small business coffee house, but as soon as I realized just how much I loved it, they were out, and never re-stocked. That was always one thing that kept me from discovering my love of tea, locally where I live, there are no “tea shops” but that was before I discovered the joys of online ordering.
As I sit here writing this review this tea sits, iced, in a tall glass, yet I still can smell the wonderful aroma that I am used to only smelling when a hot tea sits cooling beside me. This tea is strongly scented and flavored of everything tropical.
The papaya, and pineapple are the most distinguishable flavors when trying to pick out one note at a time, then passion fruit, mango, and kiwi following, in that order. Yet when all of these flavors meld, as they do so well in this tea, there is a resounding peach flavor that develops.
I love that this is a black and green tea blend. I can taste both base flavors and they are the most perfect and harmonious backdrop for these sweet fruits.
The tea does not need even a sprinkling of sugar as it is perfectly sweet all on its own.
As I sit here watching the sunset on this rather pretty, and warm, winters evening, I can’t help but long for summer to hurry and get here only because I know this is the tea I will be sipping all summer long!

Taster’s Review:
Holy Almond Cookie! Almond Cookies from Georgia Tea Company has really made me fall in love! Georgia Tea Company – be put on notice, I will be making an order with you again soon!
I have never ordered from Georgia Tea Company before but considering this tea, which is amazing, and their more than fair prices, I am holding myself back from ordering more now!
Now I do adore almond cookies, when I get one served to me at an Asian restaurant I squeal. I always seek out a better almond cookie in stores, and I am always looking for the perfect almond cookie tea. I have found mostly tisanes that make me happy when it comes to this flavor. Yet now, this beautiful green tea, with the sweet yummy goodness of almond! You know, as for the coconut, I don’t really get it as coconut like I do in other teas. However it must play some form of a good supporting role to the other elements in this tea because this is one of the best almond cookies I have ever had! Err, umm, I mean almond cookie teas!
I can taste the almond, obviously, the green tea gives a wonderful flavor and a healthy base, and yet I swear I can taste the crispy crumbly cookie in here too! You know how good almond cookies have that buttery, crispy, crumbly texture? That is this tea! And if I had to describe this tea any other way I would go with vanilla cake batter.
I think that the green base is affording the tea some of that buttery quality. You know quite honestly, I don’t want to explain this tea anymore. Call me selfish but I just want to sip on this all day, in bliss, and I think I am going to go order more, I mean its so inexpensive its crazy!
IN LOVE with this tea!

Taster’s Review:
Peach Oolong from Della Terra Teas is a must try if you love peach flavored teas or oolong tea!
I was also surprised by the green tea in this blend and even though there is a strong juicy ripe peach flavor, along with an outstanding oolong flavor, the green tea still manages to shine through!
I love peach flavored teas, and as readers of this blog know, I adore oolong. This Peach Oolong from Della Terra really hits the spot for me! I was lucky that they included a sample in my last order. I will be making an order of this tea as soon as the sample is gone!
Della Terra not only has some of the yummiest tea blends around, but they are amazing in their customer service and always have really great sales! If you do not follow them on Facebook I really suggest that you do. They have regular drawings for free teas, as well as the amazing sales I already mentioned. I have many favorites from Della Terra Teas and have reviewed several here on the blog. I am really glad I got to try this one though. The peachy flavor is fresh and juicy, the oolong flavor offers a good support to all the peachiness, and the green tea has a really yummy butteriness that makes the blend taste a little like a buttery peach cobbler.
This tea verges between a replacement for fruit juice in the morning and a dessert tea after dinner.

Taster’s Review:
Caramel Sundae Escape from Talbott’s Tea is a mellow, caramel tea that has absolutely no astringency or bitterness. It is sweet but not overly so. The chocolate notes are slight, if you are really wanting chocolate decadence this may not be the exact tea for you but the chocolate notes are present. This is by far more a caramel tea, and after all it is named Caramel Sundae Escape. However it is part of the Chocolate Lover’s collection so some may be a little disappointed it is not more chocolatey!
Regardless, this is a really delicious cup! I was surprised at just how many bits were in the blend, plenty of caramel chunks for sure!
The tea base is lovely, it melds perfectly with the flavors and does not let the caramel or chocolate totally overrun the black base. You can actually taste the tea, which after all we are tea lovers, we want to taste some tea even in our rich decedent dessert blends!
I can’t really say if it tastes like a sundae or not, I guess I would need some cream elements, or more vanilla to mimic the ice cream for it to be a true sundae tea, but I really did not miss that. I didn’t think about what it was not, I was really enjoying what it was!
I just wish I had more of it! I will be savoring the rest of the sample I have and it will most likely get reordered.

Taster’s Review:
Marie-Antoinette from Nina’s Paris has a wonderful aroma. I just love sitting here smelling it fill the air around me with the scents of roses and fresh apples. Its almost too good to drink! The apple aroma is that of mulled cider, or the smell that fills the air every year at the Apple Festivals that are commonly held in my area. It just makes me feel warm and sunny on this cold snowy winter’s day.
The flavor, while not strong, is very good. The apple notes come through in a very natural way, so natural in fact that I can taste some of the earthy notes, a light musk, or damp earth like flavor common in pu-erh. I don’t want you to think this tea tastes like a pu-erh however, it does not. Its just that there is a note here that seems so earthy, it is almost like soil. But apples come from tress, then again trees do grow out of the ground.
So here we have a wonderful apple cider like tea, with a lovely earth tone to it, and just the slightest hint at rose.
The more I sip it the more it grows on me. I think any person who loves apple flavor should try this tea. Its so subtle, does not try to flood your taste buds over with flavor but yet it is so true to what apple tastes like when you bite into one. I can even taste apple skin in this tea.
Yes, I do like this Marie-Antoinette tea from Nina’s Pairs. I like that it is polite and does not try to swarm me with flavors that would just not be natural or real. This just may end up being something I order regularly.
