Taster’s Review:
This is a very pleasant breakfast tea. This single estate Assam tea is a surprising one. It is bold and malty (no surprise there) but there is less of a bitter undertone to this Assam (surprise!) and less astringency to this than in a typical Assam (another surprise!)
The taste and texture of this Forté Breakfast is very rich. It would take to the additions of milk and honey very well, but it is also quite delicious without them. It is a strong brew, but would you want anything less from a breakfast tea?
The flavor is robust and malty and it has that pleasant, biscuit-y tone to it that reminds me of freshly baked bread. It is incredibly satisfying. It is invigorating, and has the gusto I need to get me going in the morning! Delicious!
