When it comes to flavored teas, passion fruit is one of those flavors that I really enjoy but just don’t drink very often. So when I do have a cup of passion fruit flavored tea, it is so refreshing. I think my taste buds are asking me why I haven’t tried this tea sooner!
This tea is beautifully flavored. It tastes sweet and tropical and evokes thoughts of lounging around in a hammock tied between two palm trees on a beach somewhere in the tropics. Naturally, this tea is awesome iced – although I find it quite delicious hot too.
This tea has an excellent balance between fruit and green tea. The green tea base is smooth and slightly grassy with a strong buttery note. That creaminess melds so well with the flavor of passion fruit. There is very little astringency to this cup, and no bitterness at all. Just sweet, delicious refreshment!
