Raining Weather Calls for a Rose Oolong from Indias Tea. . .

Today is one of those days where a rose oolong was just what the doctor ordered.  It has been raining non stop since Friday and we are starting to experience water in the basement and seeing flooding in our community.  So as the rain continues and the thunderstorms start up, a flavored oolong sounds like perfection. Steeping this tea was the first time I steeped tea in a tea bag in like years! I always use loose leaf and I definitely contemplated pouring the leaves from the bag into my steeper but there wasn’t much to the sample so I decided against it. I’ve been sort of meh about rose teas lately, but this one has some oomph. It’s an iron fist in a velvet glove. This tea tastes like going to an imperial palace and walking through a rose garden.
