One morning I was feeling a little groggy and needed a quick pick-me-up. Instead of messing with loose leaf tea I decided it was time to try out this tea. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant because oolongs are very hit or miss for me. I tend to gravitate towards the sweeter varieties though, so I had high hopes for this.
I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of the flavor profile. It was warm, rich and almost nutty with a sweet finish. I love honey notes in tea, and I was not disappointed here. This was such an enjoyable cup and I was shocked that I could get so much flavor from a tea in a sachet. (It is worth noting that this tea is also available loose).
I did steep this tea a second time as well. I again was pleased when the second steep was still very flavorful, though just a bit more mild and sweet, in my opinion. I absolutely loved this tea. I thought it was incredibly smooth. I also thought that it did extremely well on its second steep, considering it was bagged. I think this would be a great tea for long work days when you need something strong but are short on time.
Here’s the scoop!

Honey Red Jade tea is irresistible when it is hot. It is even better when it is cooled. The unique sweet floral and honey fragrance becomes more pronounced, with a slight hint of citrus.
