U Matcha Single Sips from The Republic of Tea. . .

It’s that time of year, when you long for tea but the thought of a hot cuppa after being out in the heat and humidity makes you cringe. Republic of Tea to the rescue! After gardening a while, I needed to hydrate. I reached for the convenient single serving pack and added it to a glass of cold water and used my aerolatte to stir the heck out of it. These packs are intended for use with a 16.9 ounce water bottle (or 8 ounces hot water if you aren’t broiling like I am right now!) so you can have Read More

yerbamate

Organic Yerba Mate Matcha Tea from The Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co. . .

I haven’t had too many Yerba Mate Matcha’s to date so I always welcome them when the come along. Recently I sipped on Organic Yerba Mate Matcha Tea from The Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co. In short, it was a pleasant sipping experience. But let’s expand on that a bit. I took 1 flat teaspoon of matcha to a tea bowl and mix with a couple of drops of water to make a smooth paste then whisked more water to fill my matcha cup. I followed the instructions on the company website. Personally – I could taste a Read More

wildberrygreen

Wild Blueberry Green from Fava Tea. . . .

Sometimes it’s nice to go back to basics. There are so many funky and unique tea blends when it comes to flavored tea that sometimes I crave something simple. In this case it’s blueberry green tea. Sencha, gunpowder green, white tea, and elderberry, eucalyptus leaves all come together to form this blend. In truth I was nervous when I saw two ingredients. Can you guess which? Eucalyptus leaves and gunpowder green! Eucalyptus can taste kind of medicinal sometimes and the last time I had gunpowder green tea I thought it tasted and smelled like old cigarette smoke. Weird, I know. Read More

Dirty Girl Scout from The NecessiTeas. . . .

I was a Girl Scout for a long time. I’m not 100% certain how long, but it was all throughout middle school. I actually really enjoyed it, but of course my favorite part of the whole experience was the cookies. How could it not be? This fabulous blend by The NecessiTEAs was made with a certain cookie in mind- Thin Mints….but with a twist: irish cream! And as we speak, I am eating some Thin Mints and sipping on my Dirty Girl Scout tea! What a combo. Y’all I am in chocolate mint heaven right now! I also think that Read More

meditative

Meditative Mind from The Tea Spot. . . . .

With the new semester starting and my mind trying to keep up with all the things around it, I was more than down for a nice cup of soothing tea. I was glad to find just want I was searching for with this relaxing blend. Meditative Mind is a very soft tea where your taste buds will be lightly touched by the flavors of the jasmine flower and the rose petals. And as I said before in my previous reviews, this power couple of these two flowers always is a good base for any tea in my book. Not to Read More
