Cache Cache from Lupicia. . . . .

“CACHE-CACHE” means “hide-and-seek” in French. I’m horrible at French so I’m grateful that I could find more about this on the Lupicia Site. Cache Cache from Lupicia is a tea where various flavors are hidden and found. Ingredients include Black tea, Sugar, Orange flower, Pink pepper, Artificial color, Gum arabic, Flavors. I remember back in 2014 – having tea envy – because LiberTeas sampled and reviewed this one back then. I’m excited it was available once again this past holiday season and I was able to get my hands on it, too! There seemed to be so many different flavor Read More

Union Jack from Lupicia

Union Jack from Lupicia…where do I start?  I wasn’t able to find this on the Lupicia USA Site or Shop but I did see it on the Australian Shop/Site and I thought it was worth a mention regardless!  Why?  Because it’s one of the most intense black teas I have had in a while that also happens to be in a silken bag! Lupicia Australia says this can be enjoyed with or without milk….of course I never add milk to any of the teas I drink.  As many of you know I am a Dairy-Free type of gal but also Read More

Darjeeling The Second Flush from Lupicia. . . . .

Darjeeling – The Second Flush certainly grabbed my attention as I was trying to decide which black tea to start my day off with recently. It was then I noticed Darjeeling The Second Flush was one of the Lupicia teas I still had yet to try! When it comes to a Darjeeling – what can you really say that hasn’t already been said? Many of us know that Darjeeling is considered to be or often called the Champagne of Teas. This specific Darjeeling was Lupicia special blend using summer-plucked Darjeeling. It was fresh and fruity and crisp. Just what I Read More

Sweet Autumn from Lupicia. . . . .

Even though the weather here is warmer than usual.  I find myself craving warming and comforting teas. I think that Sweet Autumn from Lupicia fits my cravings perfectly. It’s a very unique tea in that it’s composed of a rooibos base, sweet potatoes, chestnuts and squash. To me, this is like a fall harvest in a cup & it’s rare to find other blends that all, if not one, of these ingredients. The scent of this tea is mostly of the sweet rooibos base, with a hint of something smoky, roasted and almost burnt. I also pick up notes of Read More

ginger and lemon myrtle

Ginger & Lemon Myrtle from Lupicia. . . . .

Ginger & Lemon Myrtle is a Rooibos and Honeybush blend that I was recently blown away by and it’s rare if I’m this excited about a red rooibos based tisane! Perhaps it was because of the honeybush addition. Or maybe it is simply because I’m CRAZY for Lemon Myrtle. The possibility of the gentle ginger had something to do with it, too! The ginger wasn’t overdone. It was more in the background. It was a nice, natural enhancement to the overall flavor and not the focus of the flavor. The Lemon Myrtle really shined here. The rooibos and honeybush blended Read More
