Hillary Enjoys A Cuppa Chocolate Chai From California Tea House. . . .

I’ve mentioned at least a million times that I love Chai tea. It’s one of my favorite teas ever. When I saw the words chocolate and chai together, my heart skipped a beat. Chocolate is really the only thing that can make chai better in my opinion. I could smell the chocolate and spices through the bag and it just made me want a cup right away. This is an herbal chai, so no caffeine which makes me super happy, and makes this a suitable tea for any time of the day or night.  I brewed myself a cup, and the Read More

Juicy Strawberry from Dave & Soloman’s Tea. . . .

With a name like juicy strawberry, I just knew I had to make this tea into iced tea. The tea itself is a beautiful loose leaf, and it looks like petals and dried strawberry. The smell alone is totally delicious. It smells like fresh berries. You know when you walk by strawberries in the grocery, that’s the smell. I brewed some up in my iced tea pitcher, and added no sweetener. This morning I poured myself a glass to have with breakfast, and all I can say is WOW. It tastes like strawberry punch. It absolutely needs no sweetener, it Read More

#Kombucha Anyone?? GT’s Kombucha

I’ve had many flavors of GT’s kombucha, in fact I thought I had tried them all until I saw Laveender Love the other day at the grocery. They were having a sale so I decided to try it. I was a little bit scared that it would taste very floral-y, but luckily that is not the case. This kombucha has elderberry and lavender so it tastes like berries with a slight floral finish. It’s really refreshing and light. I think this may be my favorite flavor from GT’s. The best thing about this kombucha is how I felt after drinking Read More

Horizon Hot Ginger Green Chai from Teaoke. . . .

Every time I try a new Chai, I feel like a traitor to the last one I tried because it seems like I’m always discovering a new favorite. I guess I’m fickle when it comes to my Chai, but I truly do love them all! I was super excited to try this Horizon Hot Ginger Green Chai because I am a sucker for ginger, and with a name like hot ginger it has to be good! The first thing I noticed when the boiling water hit the tea is a wonderful spicy but also roast-y aroma. The smell filled my Read More

TulsiOriginal

Tulsi Original from Organic India. . . . .

I saw this Tulsi original tea on sale at Natural Grocers and just had to try it. It’s caffeine free, however the box mentioned that it is energizing, so that definitely piqued my interest. I brewed my first cup this morning not knowing what to expect. The teabags themselves didn’t have much of a scent, and even when I poured the hot water in my cup there still wasn’t much of a scent. It has a very delicate flavor, it kind of reminds me of green tea, but less earthy and definitely no bitterness. I’m having mine straight with no Read More
