Organic Peach Cobbler from Tazo. . . .

I don’t normally like peach flavored things. I love peaches, but I find peach flavored things to be too sweet and too fake tasting. But one day last week I really needed a little extra caffeine, and I noticed this peach cobbler tea is made with black tea so I decided to be brave and try it.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised! This was neither too sweet or fake tasting. I seriously don’t know how they did it, but this tea really tasted like a peach cobbler! It’s amazing. The peach flavor is there, but it’s subtle. It blends with cinnamon, vanilla and I swear I could taste the crust of a cobbler!

This tea needed no sugar or creamer, it was perfect all on it’s own. Although a splash of coconut milk would probably make this even more decadent! This tea does contain caffeine, otherwise it would make a delicious dessert tea. I will definitely be adding it to my tea stash. The flavor is seriously amazing, and it has just the right amount of caffeine.

I felt alert but not jittery after drinking this. Not to mention I felt cheery and happy after having such a delicious drink!

Turmeric Ginger from Rishi. . . .

Ginger tea is one of my favorite things to drink, and I’m always trying to find ways to get turmeric in my diet so this tea is right up my alley!

This tea has ginger and turmeric, of course but it also has licorice root, lemongrass which is another favorite of mine, and also orange and lemon peel and orange and lemon oil. The taste of the ginger and citrus is there, but it definitely takes a back seat to the turmeric.

Turmeric can be very overpowering if too much is used as I’ve learned when I experiment with making golden milk with turmeric and coconut milk. But Rishi Tea knows what they’re doing. The turmeric is there, but it’s the perfect amount. When you take a sip you get the zest of turmeric, with a little hint of ginger and citrus.

This is a caffeine free tea, but I noticed I felt very energized and zippy after drinking this. This is also a very warming tea, so I will be adding this to the winter tea rotation. It would be great to have before or after being out in the cold. I enjoyed this tea warm, but I plan on trying it iced next. It seems like one of those teas that are great hot or iced.

Here’s the scoop!

Leaf Type: Herbal
Where to Buy: Rishi Tea

The awesome, centering energy of golden turmeric root is enhanced by strengthening licorice root and zesty ginger in this Ayurveda inspired blend. Fragrant lemongrass and citrus peels create a lemon drop candy sweetness that balances the pungency of the roots. The combination of turmeric, ginger, lemon and honey is an ancient herbal recipe for longevity, stamina and balance.

HoneyBush from Numi. . . . .

I haven’t had honey since going vegan over eight years ago. I used to love honey in my tea. When I took my first sip of this tea, I felt like I was a kid drinking herbal tea with lots of honey in it. It has a beautiful aftertaste of honey. It’s perfectly outbalanced. It’s sweet without being too sweet, just like I remember honey.

Apparently honeybush is related to the rooibos plant. I can tell they’re related. Honeybush tea has a similar earthy taste just with a very pleasant sweet finish.

This tea is caffeine free so it is a delicious anytime tea. It would be an amazing dessert tea. I enjoyed this tea two ways. I had it both warm and iced and I loved it both ways. This is one of my favorite herbal teas and I’m just so glad I discovered it!

Just like rooibos tea, honeybush tea is full of antioxidants. I love drinking something that not only tastes so lovely, but is also so good for me as well.

If you haven’t tried honeybush tea yet, you need to do yourself the biggest favor and try it!

Citrus Hibiscus Herbal from Simple Loose Leaf. . . .

This is a hibiscus and rooibos blend with one of my favorite flavors, lemongrass! It also has orange and lemon peels so it definitely packs a citrus punch!

I made this into a big pitcher of iced tea. It’s a really pretty red color, and definitely has a really nice citrus flavor. I enjoy rooibos teas that either have spices or citrus flavors to help with the earthiness of rooibos.

This tea is light and crisp and very refreshing. It’s slightly tart and very citrus-y. I had some on a very warm day last week after doing quite a bit of walking and it helped cool me down right away. Hibiscus is known to be a cooling tea, and can actually help lower blood pressure so it was a perfect choice to sip on. Rooibos and Hibiscus teas both have really amazing health benefits. The more I drink tea and learn of the benefits, the happier I am that I gave up coffee for tea.

This is a great spring and summertime tea. Like I said it’s cooling and very hydrating which is very beneficial on those warm summer days when it’s so easy to get overheated. Even though it has a nice tartness from the hibiscus. it also has a slight sweetness and needs no sweetener in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this tea and plan on it making regular appearances in my iced tea rotation this summer as the temperatures rise.

Coconut Green Tea from LST. . . .Love Some Tea. . .

I love green tea, and I love coconut so I was pretty excited to try this tea. It was better than I could have hoped.

It’s a smooth green tea with a very slight smoky flavor, and an amazing coconut aroma and flavor. I could drink this delicious tea all day. It’s clean, and decadent. It has that kind of fatty coconut flavor, and I mean that in the best way. The coconut kind of cuts the earthiness of the green tea. I had mine warm and it was a wonderful way to wake up. I have a feeling this would be amazing iced as well.

This tea is perfect for anyone who enjoys slightly smoky flavors with a nice dose of coconut flavor. But don’t expect the overly sweet coconut flavor you get from artificially flavored coconut beverages. This is the real deal, real coconut flavor that is not cloyingly sweet at all. I bet this would also make a fantastic green tea latte with coconut milk, iced or hot!

I had never heard of LST tea before, but after trying this delicious tea I hope to try many more flavors. They are an ethical and sustainable tea company which in my opinion makes the tea taste even better!
