GreenTeaHP is the only green tea made from fresh, not dried, green tea leaves. It uses a patented water extraction process, which provides all the health benefits of green tea. These benefits include polyphenols (flavonoids), vitamins, amino acids, minerals, fibers, and more. The proprietary extraction process-no chemicals, alcohol or organic solvents used. Each pixie serving provides 1000 mg of green tea extract. Great natural fresh taste and color-no artificial colors or preservatives. Sugar-free and low calorie. 100% of the daily value of Vitamin C in each serving. Instant green tea powder tastes great, cold or hot, -just add water. We prefer cold. Most importantly, GreenTeaHP tastes great!
I think I am liking these flavorful green tea mixes more each time I try them.
Today, I am enjoying the Fruit Punch flavor. It tastes more like fruit punch than it does a tea – and I’ve come to expect that with these little pixie tubes of tea! This is a drink mix that is – I think – created more for the people who want to drink more green tea because it’s good for them, but, don’t really care for the taste of green tea. I get that. Green tea can be a bit of an acquired taste. And while I have acquired a taste for green tea, it doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy this as well!
This has a sweet taste and reminds me of fruit punch – like the kind from a juice box. But one significant difference between the two – this doesn’t taste overly sweet the way the juice box can. It has a much more pleasant sweet taste to me than a sugar-sweetened fruit drink.
Unlike the Apple Cider flavored pixie that I recently reviewed, I am finding this more enjoyable as a cold beverage than a warm one. I guess that’s because I prefer my fruit punch cold! Just empty the pixie into your favorite glass, add 8 – 16 ounces (I added closer to the 16 ounces and it came out perfect), and stir vigorously to dissolve. That’s it! If you’re on the go, just grab a water bottle and empty the pixie directly into the water bottle, screw on the cap and give it a good shake. YUM!
This is fruity, sweet, and delicious. And in tasting this, it’s hard to believe that this is a HEALTHY beverage. It doesn’t taste healthy… it just tastes good.
Anne started her journey with tea as a casual drinker and became more serious about her tea drinking when she realized that she couldn't drink coffee. Shortly thereafter, she started becoming obsessed with the beverage and she started creating small-batch, artisan blends of tea that she sold online as LiberTEAS. After a few years, she realized she wasn't cut out to be the sole proprietor of a business so she closed LiberTEAS and started reviewing teas online. She met Jennifer through another blog that they both reviewed for and they decided to start their own review blog. This review blog!
Throughout her journey as a tea reviewer, she discovered 52Teas and became enamored with the idea of creating a new tea every week. When the founder of 52Teas decided he wanted to move on, he offered the business to Anne but knowing that she wasn't cut out to be a sole proprietor, she instead offered the company to her oldest daughter who employs her as the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas!
