Taster’s Review:

Editor’s Note:  This review represents part 3 of 6 reviews, one review for each of the six flavors in the truffle collection available from Arbor Teas

Absolutely delightful!  Divine!

Of the three that I’ve tried thus far, I think that this one is probably the best representation of the tea with which it has been infused.  In fact, if you don’t care for Matcha, you just might (might!) not find this truffle as enjoyable as I do.

The Matcha flavor here is strong – but not overwhelming. I can feel the slightly chalky grit to the Matcha.  That is not to say that this does not have a smooth, creamy ganache center, because it is very smooth and creamy.  However, because there is actual Matcha powder blended with the sweet white chocolate, there is going to be some grittiness to it.  It isn’t off-putting though… it is more like a reminder that this is Matcha that you’re tasting!

The flavors here are so perfectly matched.  The milk chocolate is sweet, the white chocolate is mild, and the matcha is fresh and vibrant.  I’ve tried a few Matcha chocolates in the past, I think that this might be the best one yet!

I highly recommend picking up a box of these fantastic chocolates.  They’d make a terrific gift for the tea lover on your list, too!  (Even if that tea lover is you!)

Co-Founder/Co-Creator of SororiTea Sisters, Mad Tea Artist at 52Teas
Anne (aka the Mad Tea Artist) has celebrated her 29th birthday for many years now. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her hubby and her youngest daughter. Her oldest daughter is married and has bestowed Anne with the proud title of "Gramma" and her grandson is about the cutest boy you ever did see.

Anne started her journey with tea as a casual drinker and became more serious about her tea drinking when she realized that she couldn't drink coffee. Shortly thereafter, she started becoming obsessed with the beverage and she started creating small-batch, artisan blends of tea that she sold online as LiberTEAS. After a few years, she realized she wasn't cut out to be the sole proprietor of a business so she closed LiberTEAS and started reviewing teas online. She met Jennifer through another blog that they both reviewed for and they decided to start their own review blog. This review blog!

Throughout her journey as a tea reviewer, she discovered 52Teas and became enamored with the idea of creating a new tea every week. When the founder of 52Teas decided he wanted to move on, he offered the business to Anne but knowing that she wasn't cut out to be a sole proprietor, she instead offered the company to her oldest daughter who employs her as the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas!
